Good prices slow shipping

Came in under three weeksA bit crumpled on the edges but it s good for its priceWas skeptical because I wasn t asked for a phone number international shipping but thankfully my country s post has my number with my email so that turned out fineReally great I ll be ordering from here from now on

The customer service is excellent

The good Prices include shipping and VAT and are usually cheaper than the alternatives such as Amazon or Abebooks etc Great selection I rarely have to look elsewhere for books unless they re out of print I d love to see Blackwell s some day work with second hand sellers The bad The search gives you a LOT of irrelevant results It can be a chore to find what you re looking for So it really needs a better algorithm Shipping takes a long time On average it takes over a month to receive a book from Blackwell s here in Denmark

good service and good quality

The customer service is excellent Response time is fast and problems are also generally solved quickly The only issue I have with Blackwell is that my orders sometimes get cancelled because not enough copies are in stock I am a teacher and often order in larger quantities for my students It would be nice if the website more accurately tracked represented inventory

I had trouble with the purchase

I ordered a set of 4 books For some reason one was treated separately to the other three That one arrived very quickly I was worried that the other three would not arrive before Christmas I purchased them for a gift because the tracking information was a bit vague The second parcel with the three books arrived on the last posting day before Christmas so all good Well packaged and all books arrived in perfect condition

I had trouble with the purchase Took several tries to enter all data correctly In my limited opinion rather too complex and long winded Finally got there tho and pleased with my purchase Preferred it to Amazon

For reasons that weren t explained my credit card didn t work and I was advised to contact my bank As if contacting a bank was easy Before giving up in despair it occurred to me to try usig my debit card from the same bank and it worked fine Online overseas transactions always seem rather hit and miss Anyway glad it worked

tbh never let me down

I had been asked to gift a Heffer s gift voucher when I phoned the Cambridge shop your member of staff was very helpful telling me where I could find this at the bottom of your website and it would be sent without postage costs On line I could only find National Book Tokens you need to make your vouchers more prominent

Found book easily account setup less so

Found book easily but not sure if I had set up an account previously The forgot password route failed to confirm either way Setting up an account no problem but your password checker wouldn t accept the strong auto password generated by my device

Great Experience

I ve made about 4 orders in the last three months and all of them arrived fairly promptly within two weeks or sooner with the books in great condition

Please fix your packaging

The experience was good except for my books arriving with minor damage due to packaging The corners were bent there were indents to the pages and the edges had signs of wear from the books shifting from within the packaging One end of the package being held by a single piece of tape had come loose and the book was exposed The packaging process needs to be revisited The books arrived in 12 days from the day I ordered and are other wise a beauty with their covers that I cannot get in the US I have another set of books to arrive in the following days I will absolutely order from Blackwell again in hopes that the issue with packaging will be fixed
