12 years ago I had a 16 panel PV array installed on my roof a couple of years later the company went bust and every year since then I get a cold call from some Green Energy company offering me a free check-up and survey or extended warranty etc etc Clearly my data and records of my installation have been bought or sold on from one company to another Anyway this year I received a telesales cold call from some girl asked a load of questions offered a free survey and visit from an electrician and we fixed a date for an electrical engineer to visit Next day got a call from a man at Bluon Energy who I assume commissioned the telesales call from the previous day re going over the same old questions from the previous day re confirming the visit of their electrician and then wanted to spend the next 15 minutes going over Compliance Checks which had to be done to qualify the electricians visit he said I stopped the man at this point and explained that my attention span had all but expired and went on to ask why it takes three calls from three separate people just to fix a date and get someone through my front door Surely this tells people that this company is up to No good I left the invitation open to Bluon for their man to visit 10am the following day I didn t expect anyone to turn up and sure enough the next day no one did AN UTTER WASTE OF TIME If you want to sell something spit it out and say it And stop this time wasting theatrics in order to get a foothold through someone s front door As you can see this took place on the 5th Mar and its taken Bluon 3 months to appeal to TrustPilot and remove my review Their reply fails to appreciate the annoyance of their cold calls and protocols which after 3 repeated calls I think justified my aggression towards them after which no service was provided apart from hot air down the phone

I was asked to be present by a vulnerable customer who had had a cold call When the engineer arrived I explained why I was there and asked if he had a business card He showed me what he said was his ID This was just a credit card sized bit of plastic he refused to let me see the details on it or take a photo of it It had no company details and was just a photo bar code and a number which was not clear enough to reaI then said he would not be going in the property I explained I was not being rude but making sure the householder was not being fleeced The engineer then got really close and said if you were being rude I would be a different person this was clearly a threat to me He then made a call to his office and said access was being refused After a bit he again showed me this card but held it a distance away from me I told him I couldn t read it to which he replied are you blind I suggested it was best he leave As he drove off he shouted out have a good life hope it s short Certainly not the best experiance

Stayed in all afternoon and the technician didn t turn up No contact since the cold call arranging the visit

We had a cold call about our PV system This was followed up by a call from Bluon offering a free check of the system The person who arrived went over the system and said our voltage regulator was not working said our inverter would break down shortly and that he could get our system working much more efficiently if we had a regulator supplied by Bluon We have had the regulator checked by 2 different electricians all is OK I have had a follow up to my review from Bluon this is a response to that call

Visit from Bluon was result of a cold call offering me a free survey and report on my solar system The guy who came was condescending and immediatelysuggested all sorts of problems with my system which is working perfectly well albeit not perhaps at the full efficiency when installed 13 years ago Since writing my original report I have been contacted by the director of Bluon who has promised to speak to the operative concerned about talking to his prospective customers in a less condescending manner and so have increase my rating to two stars

Good company Had a new generation metre from Bluon Cheap tidy on time and overall just decent Will use again

Was emailed and asked to write this review by the company Nothing special but also don t have anything to moan about Good set of lads that visited well dressed and punctual

Had Bluon Energy do an annual assessment on my solar panels I was impressed with the chap who came and the chap who arranged it but was a little bit disappointed that they do not offer solar panel cleaning

I had an EV charger installed at my house The guy who came was polite and professional He installed the charger point and gave detailed instructions as to how best to use it I would certainly use this company again

Have had my solar panels for 8 years and have never had them checked but as it seems this is important I had Bluon over to do some tests Provided my paperwork and they done some workings out My system is still producing as good now as it did in the first year and they said my voltage is optimal Good stuff In future I will use Bluon for anything solar related
