Don t waste your time nor money on this company your device will never get fixed

My phone has been completely broken for a week and a half now I had originally filled our Boltech s form and sent it off they asked for an excess fee which I had paid straight away They had them emailed back to me saying they were having technical difficulties with my payment which were going to resolved asap Skip to a week later these issues are barely being resolved and now the payment was never the issue it is something else I needed my phone fixing or a replacement so I can leave university to go home as well as to see a sick relative With this information in mind they still messed me about and made this whole experience unpleasant I m still left phoneless and unable to get home for Christmas thanks to boltech I would not recommend these people under any circumstances as there are issues after issues and you re better off paying for a new phone all together

Never heard such a bullsht before I paid for insurance but didn t register at purchase and now I m not insured RUN RUN RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THESE SCAMMERS

Scammed phone destroyed after refusing paid repair

I using a smart care premium paid service all components can be replaced during once a year servicing from mechanical damage from Orange that is contracted to bolttech received a pay or no repair notice that was 20 higher than current new the same device on the market I ordered to send it back had to pay for logistics and expertise about 10 of what I would have to pay in order to have device fixed received phone with completely different battery inside not fitting disconnected and cut finger linear scanner connection I sended a working device and received a brick back had to argue for a week because they wanted to replace motherboard under a pretext of device shutdown without being able to point why it did shutdown maybe because battery was damaged - it was getting bigger - and wasn t charged for a week since I made a report and they received a phone It was supposed to be only a simple battery change from damaged to working one but scammers tried Pay back for a damaged component replacement cost

This was absolutely the worse

This was absolutely the worse experience I had with insurance I was told replacement would take not more than 48h and it took 3 weeks and multiple phone calls everyday Whoever was supposed to make a decision did not seem to be bothered I was stressed and am very much disappointed by the slowness and lack of professionalism of boltech The Phone receptionist were kind but beside that the experience was bad I do not recommend this company for insurance

Never Again

I dropped my phone and cracked my screen initially they were very helpful and directed me to an iSmash shop for repair I went to iSmash 2 days later and they told me I needed to make a booking by phone not mentioned and would take 3 days as they didn t have the screen in stock They phoned me again 2 days later to tell me that they couldn t fix it due to it not being a UK model Bolttech then sent me a voucher for the amount I paid - great right No because iSmash said they couldn t give my phone back because the phone was now the property of the insurer I lost hundreds of pounds in crypto treasured photos etc and they told me there was nothing I can do AVOID

Avoid this scam company at all costs

Boltech advised me 4 weeks ago that they would replace my phone under my insurance policy I am still waiting They are very slow to respond to any emails and there s no phone number to contact them Eventually they offered me an inferior model as they did not have the appropriate model in stock This was not acceptable to me Still waiting for my replacement phone If I could give them minus stars I would Terrible terrible company

2 months waiting for a replacement and nothing

I have two months waiting for a replacement and nothing The customer support in Boltech is nonexistent you will not get any real updates with any real information They also updated the Samsung Customer portal to say my claim was finalized but they have not fixed anything for me So probably they are also lying to Samsung Which by the way is not assuming any responsibility nor giving any support All this process is terrible I regret buying Samsung and Samsung Care Avoid this company at all costs
