As a kid I grew referencing and learning from Encyclopedia Britannica Our family had a full collection of the books The content of the current Encyclopedia Britannica is tailored to readers with extreme left political views I cannot recommend it

Wouldn t recommend
Newcomer emailed the company complaining about discrimination and was instantly blocked leaving the person to access account to retrieve correspondence tasks and send invoice to be remunerated for the work done The role itself involved several ambiguities and issues which affected the person in question

I found an error but cannot report it
I found an error but CANNOT find any way in which to reach customer service or leave feedback Their chat bot picks up the error in an article on Shakespeare it refers to his native Thames Valley accent but there is no way I can find to report this so that it can be corrected This may be available to subscribers only but having read some reviews of subscribers there is no way I am going down that route On a more general note I find Encyclopaedia Britannica to be heavily biased and americanized in its comments and quizes etc and certainly do NOT have the trust that I had years ago in its accuracy and authenticity

Shoddy and tacky nothing like the old books
I couldn t believe that this website is from the same organisation that used to produce the thorough and authoritative Encyclopedia Brittanica books but apparently it is It s packed full of the worst sort of clickbait ads the ones you would associate with a cheap tabloid for example Inappropriate bikini pictures The information on the site is often unclear muddled badly written or just wrong Each article comes to an end and leads you directly into another article that is often quite unrelated The low trustpilot score is well deserved
