I wish I could ve written something positive

I used your service for the trial period at the last day my website was broken and it took me like 4 hours trying to sort it out with my hosting service provider i was running paid Ads and the results were embarrassing because they were redirected to a broken store i lost the cost of the paid Ads in addition to paying an online service to help me sort it out and it did not take them more than 2 minutes to deactivate bunny CDN WP plugin and the site was back to normal I think you should ve at least sent a warning that this might happenthe cost i thought i was gonna save with bunny CDN pricing resulted in paying a cost a lot higherShame

Subpar Image Optimizer Perma-cache experience

CDN Image Optimizer Perma-cache service keeps falling over Support is quite quick when replying but they never fix the issues properly Ill give the 3 most recent issues - Images sometimes dont render they just show a browser message cannot be displayed because it contains errors Support will fix the issue but then 2 days later the issue comes back 3 times over the last week we have contacted support about this issue - About 1 out of every 10 times you clear an image from the cache it doesn t work Support has fixed it twice but the issue is not fixed We gave up working with bunny support on this because they only fix the image URL we contact them about they dont fix the issue which keeps reoccurring so have developed our own work around which is slow but quicker than contacting support for each image when this happens - Purging images via wildcards via API does not work When we informed them of this they did not fixed the issue Instead on the purge page they added a message Wildcard values are not supported if using Perma-Cache and removed wildcard purging from the API docs So we are left running a website where sometimes images don t work have to manually check when we purge an image from the cache that it actually did purge and cant purge entire folders of images with a wildcard While the service is good value we would have never switched to bunny had we known the product was so unstable

It s never mentioned that they charge monthly minimums

It s partially mentioned in small print that they charge you a minimum of 1 each month even if your bandwidth activity is significantly less than that Upon signing up you re already forced to top up your account rather than pay each month which presumably the whole point of doing it this way is to get around the fees that would otherwise be associated with charging customers every month and imposing minimums It s implied that the 1 minimum is enforced when you topup not for money that s already in your account If I ve already paid taxes and fees when I topped up the account there s no reason to do it again for money that s already in there Imagine buying a gift card for a grocery store that said 10 minimum so you load 20 on to it but then when you go to the store you find that even though you just bought a 0 10 item it actually charged you 10 It seems scummy to do this when you re forcing customers into your CDN eco-system with the topping-up method charging monthly minimums on top of that and then making sure they can t leave It s the wrong way to conduct business in my view EDIT Depsite Bunny responding in a polite manner they ve actually been reporting my review to TrustPilot Because they re upset that I ve given them a bad review they re now trying to take my review down Speaks volumes about the type of company that this is BunnyCDN - you re allowed to disagree with me but trying to get me censored because you don t like what I thought of your service is desperate Do better

I wanted to like you

I wanted to like you but I cant Firstly I tested 5 major CDNs Followed all setup guides and contacted support to see what the best TTFB was BunnyCDN is a great looking service however it is no faster loading a website vs cloudflare free I even had their support recommend i use both This also broke my website and it is not compatible with CSS Combination with certain cache systems Overall the cost is great but the speeds are slightly slower vs cloudflare free at times it can be even slower I ended up going back to the free option and paying for their new APO I m sorry I just hope you guys can get your speeds and TTFB to a place where its superior I will be back one day I hope -- and will revise this review

Worst company to ever exist

Worst company to ever exist The steal from you with hidden transactions Then promise to refund you only to refund the remaining balance after they have stolen from you keeping their stolen profits They would have happily have stolen all my funds had i not caught them out This is why they have this prepaid model Its all done on purpose so that they are in control of your money Dont be fooled by their low prices because you pay in the end Then they don t even have direct links to their videos Yes you read that right a video hosting and streaming service that doesn t give you something as important and basic as the direct link How pathetic Then after all this they suspend your account and they refuse to let you close your account and your data holding it ransom - which is a direct violation of the GDRP as well as all your copyright videos which is theftYou cannot get a worse customer experience than this Imagine having all your video reliant on this and then they randomly shut you down while refusing to close your account as you cant even access your dashboard Im off to Cloudflare where my money wont get stolen my account wont randomly get suspended and i can actually get direct links to my videos 5 per month or risking all having all your money stolen due to hidden micro transactions Think it an easy choice to make

Bunny.net is a technology company offering a comprehensive suite of content delivery, optimization, and security services on a globally distributed edge network. Its core services include Bunny CDN & Edge Storage for fast content delivery, Bunny Optimizer for automatic front-end website performance improvements, Bunny Security featuring a Web Application Firewall and DDoS protection, and Bunny Stream for video hosting and live streaming. The platform is designed to help businesses deliver web content, applications, and media faster, more reliably, and securely.

Bunny CDN enhances performance through its high-performance content delivery network comprising over 110 global points of presence (PoPs). It accelerates the delivery of static and dynamic content, video streams, and software downloads by caching content closer to end-users, significantly reducing latency. Integrated Bunny Edge Storage allows files to be stored and served directly from the network edge, further decreasing load times and reducing strain on origin servers.

The Bunny Optimizer is an all-in-one front-end optimization tool that automatically improves website performance. It functions as a reverse proxy, applying enhancements on the fly without requiring major code changes. Key features include automatic image optimization (such as conversion to WebP/AVIF formats and lazy loading), minification of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML files, and smart font delivery. This process reduces file sizes and optimizes loading sequences to speed up page rendering.

Bunny.net provides several security features to protect online assets. These include a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with integrated DDoS protection to filter and block malicious traffic, hotlink protection to prevent unauthorized embedding and use of your content on other sites, and token authentication for securing access to video streams and file downloads. These tools work at the edge of the network to mitigate threats before they reach your origin infrastructure.

Bunny Stream is a dedicated video streaming platform within Bunny.net that allows users to upload, encode, and deliver video content. It supports both Video-on-Demand (VOD) and live streaming with adaptive bitrate streaming for optimal quality across different devices and connection speeds. It is designed for a wide range of users, including media companies, educators, businesses hosting webinars, and anyone needing efficient video delivery, operating on a pay-as-you-go model based on bandwidth and storage usage.

Bunny CDN & Edge Storage

At the heart of the service is the Bunny CDN, a high-performance content delivery network with over 110 points of presence (PoPs) across the globe. Integrated with the CDN is Bunny Edge Storage, an object storage solution that allows users to store and serve files directly from the edge, reducing latency and origin load.

Bunny Optimizer

This is an all-in-one front-end optimization tool designed to automatically improve website performance. It offers features like image optimization (WebP/AVIF conversion, lazy loading), minification of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, and smart font delivery. The Optimizer works by acting as a reverse proxy, applying enhancements on the fly without requiring extensive code changes.

Bunny Security

The platform provides a range of security features to protect websites and applications. This includes a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with DDoS protection, hotlink protection to prevent unauthorized embedding of content, and token authentication for securing streams and downloads. These tools help mitigate malicious traffic and safeguard online assets.

Bunny Stream

A dedicated video streaming platform, Bunny Stream allows users to upload, encode, and deliver video content with adaptive bitrate streaming. It supports live streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) with a pay-as-you-go pricing model based on bandwidth and storage usage, making it accessible for various use cases.
