Cheap and fast

I have used BunnyCDN for almost a year now At the moment I have 26 Wordpress blog registered there and the speed is definitely much better I found a lot of advantages and one minor thing therefore 4 stars instead of 5 - Speed is great I find it much quicker than most of the competition I have tried - It is extremely cheap Really a question of pennies You pay beforehand and they deduct the amount corresponding to your use every month 10 made a year So it is very affordable - Very easy of use You make your pullzone give it a name For Wordpress you download their plug-in write in the name of the pullzone you created Job done I don t know how their support work if they are knowledgeable quick nice or not I didn t have any use for it yet So this remains to be checked The only downside I have seen is that it may happen that their servers disconnect and then the users depending on this server won t see your pictures or text I have seen it a couple of times in the last year but I don t know if it happened more often Except for that everything seems to work fine at a very cheap cost

Good easy to use and a lot of features

Good easy to use but still with a lot of features Missing the ability to group pull zones but that is not a deal breaker in any way Also the admin interface could be better but again no deal breaker The easy interface to Backblaze B2 is also a big plus

It gets the job done

It gets the job done and overall is very performant I would like to see certificate support for wildcards Lets Encrypt has supported this for a while now and uploading to storage zones via FTP feels incredibly dated and insecure and a bit slow at times too

When researching a CDN provider I found bunny net to be a good choice for maintaining a highly convenient service speed unitary delivery of content at a fair price in a highly competitive market envir

The price can t be beat

The price can t be beat the speed is decent and it was fairly easy to integrate It would be nice to see some updates though including the ability to copy or move files Also the documentation I found to be confusing particularly as I use ASP Classic

Amazing Support decent services

To start bunny has the best support I ve ever seen including providers that had a paid support tier The support agents are knowledgable and helpful the support also usually is rather quick to respond Absolutely 5 stars on the support Anyways regarding the CDN itself I ve been dealing with some 503 gateway timeout issues it happens to a very few of the requests I receive a day 0 05 seemingly at random I do not have this issue when using AWS CloudFront suggesting it s likely on bunny s side The performance is also slightly slower then CloudFront but it should be noted that CloudFront is easily 10x the price bunny costs So I am more then happy with it Resolve the 5xx errors and you get a solid 5 stars from me but 4 stars definitely is nothing to be ashamed of I greatly recommend bunny

Frequently Asked Questions

Bunny.net is a technology company offering a comprehensive suite of content delivery, optimization, and security services on a globally distributed edge network. Its core services include Bunny CDN & Edge Storage for fast content delivery, Bunny Optimizer for automatic front-end website performance improvements, Bunny Security featuring a Web Application Firewall and DDoS protection, and Bunny Stream for video hosting and live streaming. The platform is designed to help businesses deliver web content, applications, and media faster, more reliably, and securely.

Bunny CDN enhances performance through its high-performance content delivery network comprising over 110 global points of presence (PoPs). It accelerates the delivery of static and dynamic content, video streams, and software downloads by caching content closer to end-users, significantly reducing latency. Integrated Bunny Edge Storage allows files to be stored and served directly from the network edge, further decreasing load times and reducing strain on origin servers.

The Bunny Optimizer is an all-in-one front-end optimization tool that automatically improves website performance. It functions as a reverse proxy, applying enhancements on the fly without requiring major code changes. Key features include automatic image optimization (such as conversion to WebP/AVIF formats and lazy loading), minification of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML files, and smart font delivery. This process reduces file sizes and optimizes loading sequences to speed up page rendering.

Bunny.net provides several security features to protect online assets. These include a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with integrated DDoS protection to filter and block malicious traffic, hotlink protection to prevent unauthorized embedding and use of your content on other sites, and token authentication for securing access to video streams and file downloads. These tools work at the edge of the network to mitigate threats before they reach your origin infrastructure.

Bunny Stream is a dedicated video streaming platform within Bunny.net that allows users to upload, encode, and deliver video content. It supports both Video-on-Demand (VOD) and live streaming with adaptive bitrate streaming for optimal quality across different devices and connection speeds. It is designed for a wide range of users, including media companies, educators, businesses hosting webinars, and anyone needing efficient video delivery, operating on a pay-as-you-go model based on bandwidth and storage usage.

Bunny CDN & Edge Storage

At the heart of the service is the Bunny CDN, a high-performance content delivery network with over 110 points of presence (PoPs) across the globe. Integrated with the CDN is Bunny Edge Storage, an object storage solution that allows users to store and serve files directly from the edge, reducing latency and origin load.

Bunny Optimizer

This is an all-in-one front-end optimization tool designed to automatically improve website performance. The Optimizer works by acting as a reverse proxy, applying enhancements on the fly without requiring extensive code changes.

Bunny Security

The platform provides a range of security features to protect websites and applications. This includes a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with DDoS protection, hotlink protection to prevent unauthorized embedding of content, and token authentication for securing streams and downloads. These tools help mitigate malicious traffic and safeguard online assets.

Bunny Stream

A dedicated video streaming platform, Bunny Stream allows users to upload, encode, and deliver video content with adaptive bitrate streaming. It supports live streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) with a pay-as-you-go pricing model based on bandwidth and storage usage, making it accessible for various use cases.
