Overall Good

I have purchased multiple things from buyee and have had an overall good experience Just with my recent purchase one of my figures came broken I wasn t sure if that lied in fault of the original seller buyee or the shipping service But I had hoped for some sort of compensation considering the price I paid but in the end I didn t I do recommend this service though I have had more great experiences than not so anyone looking for a way to get cool stuff from Japan try buyee

My only complaint is that you don t get

My only complaint is that you don t get to choose between FedEx or DHL They choose for you I wish that I could choose FedEx and then not have to worry if it ships If this was the case I d use them more Other than that I really like the service but because of this I m going to try another service that lets you choose

Great range and easy to use

Buyee has been fantastic to find rarer harder to find pieces from Japan that we can t really access in Australia very easily the only concern I really had was that I couldn t cancel a purchase whatsoever the only option was to literally destroy the package and lose money so that was a bit confusing

Let me choose my courier

I always shop using buyee jp but my recent issue is i should be able to choose my courier They choose it for you I prefer DHL not FedEx If i can pay for DHL give me that choice I get that COVID disallowed movement of shipment i was always able to choose who i wanted FedEx was recently added they are not the best they seem to bump into customs issues for items coming from Japan into the US it s annoying Please allow your customers the choice of choosing their couriers

The service offers a lot of good deals

The service offers a lot of good deals regarding coupons and discounts but there needs to be communication allowed between seller and buyer The buyer should be able to ask the seller directly about the items they want to purchase without Buyee as the middleman The support staff are usually unhelpful and offer robotic responses

Convenient but expensive

Easy navigation with English interface available My only biggest complaint is that there are a ridiculous amount of fees and the international shipping costs are obscene It s like 30 to have a single shirt mailed over to the US West Coast and that isn t including any domestic shipping fees from seller to Buyee

It s okay when your buying one item

It s okay when your buying one item Pretty much a very good service However beware when your buying many cause the fees will start getting expensive It s hard to combine shipping from the same order or same seller to keep the fees down Costumer service isn t very good either I think if the fees were just a bit lower or more coupons then I would say great service

Fast Service but be familiar with Fees and Taxes

Purchase turnaround time via Buyee Tenso is fast but it is important to note that GST is also applicable to domestic service costs incurred within Japan including domestic shipping fee purchase fee inspection fee photo fee protective packaging fee and package consolidation fee in addition to the actual item costs insurance fee international shipping fee and customs clearance fee

Good website expensive shipping

Buyee is a pretty good website to get niche and unique exclusive items The option to consolidate everything is probably one of my favorites and the site is easy to navigate- especially if you use the option to translate I am glad I can use this instead of other websites that are too expensive with a fee I do recommend searching keywords in Japanese as it is easy to find results better that way
