Easy to purchase Not easy on the wallet or safety of items

This was my first experience with using a proxy While the process of buying wasn t very difficult the amount of fees and the pricing for these fees and shipping left a LOT to be desired I only ordered a photocard which you d think wouldn t cost hardly anything in shipping but I ended up paying almost 20 in shipping And when I got the card in the mail there was absolutely NO PROTECTION It was in a flat non-padded envelope inside a flat plastic non-padded shipping envelope Anything could have happened to it on its way to me I can only bless the shipping powers that be that the envelopes didn t get bent even remotely in a weird way The least I expected was a toploader or cardboard and the card was just free floating in a flimsy envelope I would think twice about using this service again for all the money I paid to have this item potentially ruined had the transportation been rougher

Buyer beware

Learn from my mistake and don t use this site unless you are desperate for an item that you can only get using them no matter the cost I went in for a small flat item literally a sheet a printed card It was 470 yen nearly 3 When I went to pay it went up to 7 with all the fees I was ok with that as I presumed shipping was included I later go a note about shipping costs which was an additional 2500 yen 16 Absolutely not worth it but found I couldn t cancel they trap you with this policy It feels like a scam in all but name I emailed them and got no reply for 2 weeks I used their web chat and finally got some answers There is no way round it you pay the money or you discard the item and lose the money you ve already paid - no refunds Also their webchat says to give them 30 mins but they ll close the chat if you don t answer within 5 which pissed me off a bit Ultimately I chose to pay the fee and just never use them again At least it wasn t a lot of money You can find many other sites for much cheaper and that don t use this kind of trick and excessive hidden fees

The fees are too high

The fees are too high and the absence of an estimate cost of delivery before purchasing the goods makes it risky to buy from them I ended up paying upwards of 40 dollars for a 5-dollar second hand book because of this

Bargain was a fairy tale

You get what you see without customer service really

I have been using buyee over a year now everytime I received the item that I ordered However I am recently considering to find another proxy due to couple of reason - They give you an option to edit invoice at the shipping check out I have done this and they didn t apply the change - knowingly and didn t notify me If so why they provide an option to modity invoice - I got many package consolidation with them everytime what they do is get the all items in shipping boxes and make a bigger box End of the day I pay for package consolidation service and still pay the same shipping cost - so no point for me They recently removed the package consolidation cost though Whenever I reach to them I get answer like they are always right and I am always wrong so they don t do anything they don t also make up for bad experince I am seriously considering for new proxy service really

Unflexible service and many hidden

Unflexible service and many hidden fees Forced to pay in USD or SEK with bad exchange rate hidden coT number 1 They also overcharge shipping with about 30 hidden cost number 2 You cant buy several items from the same seller So if you want insured delivery first you pay buyee 500 JPY per item and then you select international shipping method and pay for insurance again hidden double cost number 3 If something happens to the package or its content buyee wont assist even though the delivery was insured just because you didnt choose the insurance plan when buying the item They should also leave full responsibility to the buyer to fill out the customs form Look for alternatives is my tip There are cheaper options out there who are much more flexible allowing full control for the buyer including customs declaration and with no hidden fees

Buyee the king of fees

So many fees man it s not even worth it unless you want something REALLY bad I bought a keychain from some Japanese artist and it was around 800yen and then you have to pay additional 800yen to buyee and then when its in their warehouse you have 30 days to pay shipping to your location shipping is another 900yen for cheapest option but there is ADDITIONAL fee so its 1600yen So my item which costs 800yen just out of nowhere costs 3200yen and it s a f cking keychain bro i get that i have to pay shipping which would come out at around 1700yen but just some fees double it Also if you cant pay shipping you have to request the DESTRUCTION of the item and its also paid 740 yen for keychain Additionally I heard that if package gets sent back you have to pay it AGAIN to be delivered TLDR Avoid buyee unless it s something you REALLY need I suggest looking for different websites with no hidden fees

Buyee is professional but annoying

Buyee is a professional organization but once they decide on something nothing will change their mind They would not ship 2 radios that they let me purchase through Yahoo auction There is nothing wrong with mailing these radios Two-way amateur radios are forbidden to be exported from Japan but I did NOT purchase amateur radios They don t transmit and are FM and shortwave receivers only I tried to explain to no avail I had to use a third-party service to mail them to me which increased the overall cost I contacted three third-party mailing services and all told me that mailing these radios was OK No export laws would be broken I won t be using Buyee in the future There are other proxy services that I will try It is frustrating that they don t listen to reason Also they refused any possibility of SOME compensation

Just disappointing all around

kinda scummy website that doesn t take responsibility if they mess up and doesn t take improvement suggestions They lost my item and said that because I had lite plan it wan t their fault They said that lite plan extends to their mess up s as well even though the description describes In this plan no guarantee is give even if there is a defect in the product implying there should be a product in the first place The second part Request to investigate the delivery status of undelivered items and request refund procedure to the delivery company regarding product defects in the delivery process which implies that the item is shipped to their warehouse but lost on the way there Yet they themselves lost my item and just blamed it on me because of the lite plan The improvement part is when I asked if they could add - and so I could deliver to the address I wish I could send my packages they just replied Use ae instead of which just ignored the other three characters I needed to use on the address I couldn t use a o or the ae ao because it would ve made the words in the address mean something totally different and the package would ve been guaranteed to be sent back to Japan but they insisted of using the provided method sadly this is the easiest and best proxy service I have used so far I have used and it still does not provide that good of a service

Users around the world need to know I paid for my package to be sent by DHL on September 25 2023Support was contacted on September 28th 29th and October 3 8 10 11 and until now October 16 2023 the package has not been sent A company hires managers leaders employees and pays them salaries to solve problems and keep the company s name clean Buyee is not an NGO so it was probably a company created to generate profits and is spending its precious money paying salaries to support useless support that doesn t work and makes cases like this dirty the company s name Do you think that a director of a company that invests millions in your business wants to see your company s name negative I do not think so But does he know that he is spending his money paying salaries to maintain useless support So let s check it out On the company profile at buyee site help common companyIt says the president is Shohta NaoiAnd the real name of the company is Tenso IncSo let s ask straight to the top So Mr Shohta Naoi what do you think of your support Sorry to put your name here but it s because your employees are turning your company into garbage Is it worth spending your money paying useless salaries for employees who don t solve your company s problems for you So if you value your money do something I m going to give one star because it s the least I wouldn t give any But I ll change my opinion if the problem is resolved After all the service is useful and we need it so the intention is to improve and not denigrate Package number G2309260186Solved on October 19th Two stars for the delay
