Terrible experience was totally preventable
What was your weekend like We rented a cabin for the weekend with cabinsusa com With COVID-19 in play we could not take My son to Great Wolf lodge like we usually do so we decided to rent a cabin with its own indoor pool in pigeon forge TN My son has been asking about Great Wolf for months and we kept telling him we were going to go to a place where he would get his own pool to himself He was very excited The drive up was not fun Waze brought us through numerous tight back roads that the rain made that much less appealing When we got to the complex with the unit it was a trip up unbelievably steep hills with single lanes and blind curves We were very happy to be at the cabin and decided we were not leaving for any reason So imagine our disappointment when we got there to find the pool was half full There was a hose running from outside into the pool room propping the door open The room was cold and the pool was half full of cloudy water We called maintenance and about 2 hours later they finally showed up Guy was nice enough but not much he could do He estimated the pool would be up to the filter by maybe midnight The system would then run and then clean and heat the pool The pool was not up to the filter by midnight It was not full after letting it run all night So looking at a pool 3 4 full of cold cloudy water we called cabinsusa agian I asked if they had another cabin with a pool we could shift to He said he d call me back in 15 minutes An hour later he called back to say no they did not So we packed up and left I told cabinsusa that I had no intention of paying for this trip and was met with talk of well maybe there could be a partial refund To their credit they did let me know later that evening that they would refund 100 of my reservation But that doesn t change that I spent 4 hours in a car only to have to turn around and head home the next day So I m still pissed My son was a champ He did not fixate on the pool or that we couldn t use it If he had it would have been even more of a nightmare And all it would have taken was a phone call If you told me ahead of time that the cabin was not ready I would have been upset but I would have understood I might have even simply tried another week Cabinsusa refunded my money but that is the very least they could have done and even that I had to make a stink about to make happen So that was my experience The pictures below are the picture from the brochure and what we actually got I m glad to be home but what a miserable way to celebrate my sons 6th birthday

Worst Place to Stay in the Smokies
Upon arriving to our cabin on 10 30 - the cabin was unclean unsafe and not as described Customer serviced would not fix Upon arrival at A Mountain Escape on 10 30 2020 we immediately found the cabin which was advertised as being located in tranquil wooded surroundings was just steps away from a busy highway with 45mph traffic The stairs to enter were uneven and unstable the staircase inside had loose spindles and could not be enclosed accessibly with a safety gate so we were unable to use half the cabin with small children as they could slip through the spindles When I called customer service they would not assist me but assured me a manager would call back we left to grab dinner and await the call When we went out to our car we discovered other vacationers staying in a different Cabins USA cabin loudly engaging in sex outside We called the company to complain again they again promised a manager call back they did not provide an address or phone number to file a complaint with the police The manager never called That evening exhausted with no options we came back to our cabin to be harrassed and yelled at by the same vacationers as earlier from their cabin We began to unpack only necessities in hopes we could get a refund and find acceptable arrangements the next day We discovered the bathroom and bedrooms were in unclean condition and documented in photos The sheets had clearly not been changed and the bathrooms had hair in the tub from the previous tenants The upstairs bathroom had laundry lint and messes on the floor and was also obviously never cleaned Absolutely despicable in the middle of COVID-19 We went by the office in Pigeon Forge on 11 1 again to request help again we were promised a manager that never called After leaving on 11 7 I have reached out numerous times and been hung up on and had no phone call returned ever We are not picky travelers the cabin was missadvertised unacceptable unsanitary and unsafe We will now be reaching out to the Tennessee Attorney General to file a consumer complaint and calling the Sevier County Health Department with our documentation if we do not receive an immediate response and refund for our exhausting miserable stay where we were never accommodated and treated poorly I hope that Cabins USA sees the importance of responding We never would ve requested a full refund but the complete lack of communication and unwillingness to resolve anything in any way has been disgusting and added insult to injury Nothing less than a full refund and assurance that sanitation issues will be addressed to be made acceptable and safe and the advertisement corrected to no longer reflect tranquil wooded surroundings is acceptable at this point This cabin should not be inhabited If the maid - Genesis actually ever comes out to clean she should be fired or given strictest training It was filthy and especially unsafe during a pandemic when cleaning protocols are supposed to be at their most stringent

Review for Quiet Oak cabin with Cabins
Review for Quiet Oak cabin with Cabins USA We informed management at 8 05 PM that the cabin was infested with roaches and they expressed that they would send pest control out More and more roaches began to run around the cabin and management proceeded to move us into the breathtaker cabin at 12 05 AM We were offered no consolation other than a cabin that did not appropriately accommodate everyone for the duration of the stay The cabin did not have enough bed space for the amount of people that I informed cabins USA would be in attendance on the trip with me We were offered couches to sleep on Some of my guests were sleeping in chairs and on the floor on the first night This is completely unacceptable We were given a full refund but received nothing for our inconvenience after we refused to accept the subpar accommodations being offered by Cabins USA We had to cancel the excursions because of this event and we had hundreds of dollars of food that went bad due to the dislodging we were offered no compensation for any of this I have been a customer with this company for at least seven years and my friends and family have been utilizing this company for at least 16 years I have never been treated so poorly in all of my travels to 13 different countries I will never book with Cabins USA again and it is my sole intent to ensure that no one that I know books with this company again I will inform every single member of my travel group of 2 500 that this is not the place where you are treated with equality and fairness I was not offered any other form of compensation for any of this inconvenience Other organizations such as hotels flight companies or AirBnB would have never allow this treatment to stand I plan to have this review on every social media outlet by the end of the day all 16 women that endured this atrocity will have this posted on every social media outlet by the end of the day All 2 500 women in this travel group will have this posted on every social media outlet before the end of the day Videos and photos of roaches that were in this infested cabin will be posted on all social media outlets by the in of the day through all of my groups and social media I have access to 100 000 social media account and it is my sole intent to have this message spread throughout the entire United States and hopefully further than that It is my sole purpose in life for the next 2-3 months to make sure that everyone in the world knows what this company did to my guests and I I want the doors to this organization shut and I m going to do everything in my power to make sure this happens

DO NOT STAY HERE
DO NOT STAY HERE The accommodations amenities location comfort and process were not at all satisfactory Lets begin with arrival the address they gave us on all documentation is wrong and we are not the only ones this happened to You had to drive a mile up further take a random road uphill and then take a steep downhill into the property The driveway looks NOTHING like this picture it is STEEP and was difficult to get in and out of if you have someone staying in the cabin RIGHT next to you its even worse We were extremely disappointed with our stay this cabin needs to have a better inspection before families come to stay On day one we filled 3 work orders 1 for the cable not working in the entire Cabin 3 rooms and Living Room and no remote control working with the main TV 2 The hot water heater was turned off no hot water in the entire cabin and it was 10pm someone should have checked that before we arrived 3 The fireplace did not work In addition to what we put a work order in for the water valve in the main floors bathroom almost fell off the sofa bed is unhinged from the actual sofa and you end up scratching the entire floor putting it back in and out there was a loud noise coming from the vent in the basement bedroom to the left of the stairs that kept us awake 2 of the 3 nights I have a video there are no closets to hang clothes in the main bedroom and no hangers in the rooms downstairs there are no full length mirrors the mirror in the bathroom downstairs is made for 6ft tall people you cant see your whole face the hot water runs out after one shower bath the driveway is a NIGHTMARE and not at all like your picture advertising the cabin Overall this was a pretty horrible experience the ONLY thing that worked well was the WiFi The owner needs to update this cabin ASAP Not worth the money paid and there are multiple complaints on the Better Business Bureaus website Shame on you

Unpleasant experience
We just recently returned from a trip to Gatlinburg and we rented barefoot dreams cabin in pigeon forge Upon arrival the power was out I called the office and after being on hold for about 10 minutes it came on We went upstairs to start unpacking and the very first thing I saw on the floor in the bathroom was a very large roach Went back downstairs and turned the water on in the kitchen and it had the worse sulfur smell I ve ever smelt It was horrible Went to bed that night only to discover the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom didn t work Next day had to go pay 60 for a fan to put in the bedroom so we could sleep We had to go buy bottled water to brush our teeth with because the water was so horrible Everyone in the cabin dreaded shower time because the smell was so bad Matter of fact we all took the least amount of showers possible One of the guest went to take a shower and the entire shower door fell off not to mention one of our guests found a spider in their bed the next morning This is the second year in a row that we stayed with cabins USA and neither experience was pleasant You would think if you spend over 400 a night on a place to stay it would be well maintained and kept up with but no both times we have stayed in one of their cabins it was not a good experience I don t expect a cabin to be a palace but I do expect when I go on vacation and am paying that much perNight for 5 nights that it be a nice comfortable place to stay

Dirty and Broken
When we arrived we found our cabin had not been cleaned Unfortunately we didn t notice this till AFTER we had unloaded all of our stuff After about 20 minutes of calling being hung up on transferred to voicemail transferred to nothing hung up on again we finally got in touch with someone that could help After another 20-30 minutes of working on it we were moved to a different cabin So we packed up all our stuff again drove another 20 minutes through the mountains to a new location The new cabin didn t have the amenities that we wanted but it was better than staying in a dirty cabin The main thing we were looking for on this trip was a nice theater room to watch movies in with the family The new cabin had some crappy movie theater chairs in front of a basic 70 TV which didn t work When we turned on the TV it showed nothing but colored lines like it had been hit with something Another 20 minutes back and forth on the phone and we had a maintenance order in Someone from maintenance showed up late that 1st evening confirmed the TV was broken and told us they should be able to replace it first thing the next day Next day came and went no TV More texts and calls got us assurances that the TV would be replaced the next day They finally came with a new TV around noon on the 3rd day of our 5 day stay Keep in mind that the main reason we picked the cabin we chose was to watch movies at and now more than 1 2 of our trip has gone by without having a working TV When we complained about this we were offered a discount on a future stay which we declined They can t keep their cabins clean and in working order why would we drive 8 hours down there again to chance it They finally gave us a 200 refund on our stay of over 2200 Never doing business with this company again

I would give zero stars if I could Arrived on Wednesday evening with 11 people 2 teenagers and a toddler We checked into The Woodsy Rest The drive up was a nightmare and parking was non-existent I ve never had to put a minivan in low gear to climb a sheer cliff like that Wifi didn t work TVs didn t work dishwasher didn t work hot tub went out after one use strong copper smell from well water soiled couch soiled pool table no tips on the pool cues dirty carpet electrical cords everywhere we called every day and were promised a call back every time but never happened We never received any help other than maintenance coming the second day and got 1 television working in the pool room How are we supposed to set kids up for a movie around a pool table Made the trip to the office twice and still nothing was done This was an experience to say the least a learning experience to never use this company again It rained every day of our trip which is why we paid for the non-working amenities and still couldn t get anyone to address the issues Cabins USA doesn t care AT ALL about their customers or what they pay for I hope they shut down soon and a reputable management company takes over They refunded 300 of a 2k stay so yeah just don t even bother

If I could give them no stars I would For 1300 00 Angel s Attic cabin Dishwasher did not work Clothes washer did not work Hot tub had NO chlorine and smelled horribly of mold Couldn t use Bedroom Jacuzzi had slimy mold coming out the jets Couldn t use Toilet seat broken Top of range was greasy and dirty Light bulbs out in living room Pull out bed in living room needs replaced Very bad Outlets on walls in dining room area bad Plugs wouldn t say in Called office numerous times and delivered written list of problemsTo the main office No one came no one called

Cabins USA was TERRIBLE
There were so many things wrong with this cabin from the moment we arrived We had a different fridge than the one we originally saw in photos We were originally supposed to have a stainless steel large fridge Instead we had a small crappy white fridge like the one you use in a garage This fridge ended up breaking and were given 2 mini fridges by Cabin USA to try and fit all the food we bought for the week for almost 15 people A lot of our food was lost due to this There was a leak in the bathroom and holes in the ceiling We couldn t use the washing machine and shower because we didn t know where it was coming from The hot tub didn t work and was absolutely disgusting The cleaning crew did a terrible job and there were items left behind from previous tenants that were never discarded The dishwasher was moldy and couldn t be used even after we tried to clean it We ended up having to hand wash everything Cabins USA only left us one hand tall so we had to purchase more The grill was tiny and took forever to cook things - even though this cabin was meant for over 20 people We complained from the start but were given the run around all week about compensation They finally offered us a measly 874 after a week of calling them on the phone They offered us another cabin that was farther smaller and away from our baseball families that were staying in the same area The cabin next to us was having similar issues and was already on their 2nd cabin because they had issues with the first one We wasted valuable time on the phone and or trying to work around all these issues when we should have been just enjoying our vacation with our friends and family We will never stay in another cabin by Cabins USA and would like to spread the word so others don t make the same mistake we did

We stayed at Bear Tracks
We stayed at Bear Tracks I would give 0 stars if possible Cabin was filthy Some areas looked as if they hadn t been cleaned for months The pictures on the website did not accurately represent the cabins current state My sister had stayed with this company the week before and had issues and called the office to complain and nothing was ever done so we didn t bother calling We will just make sure we never rent from them again and we will spread the word to our friends and family Whoever cleaned this cabin left a tip envelope for us Are you kidding me I would be ashamed
