Poor longevity for a high end product
Sadly having spent a very substantial sum on three sofas two chairs and and two footstools the claims made by Cane-Line of longevity and high-end luxury have not been met The guarantee is for six months with an extended period of two years to raise concerns Very few much cheaper options last for less than two years Ours started to deteriorate around the two year mark and significant damage discolouration and brittle fabric was evident by the third year on the footstools and on most items by the fourth year After three months of wrangling new cushion covers have been offered and the company has told me that I should be grateful for that No action has been proposed to deal with the deterioration of the inner fabric and frames Customer service certainly isn t high-end I m afraid Buy cheaper brands and have new every couple of years would be my advice

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING QUALITY DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR MARKETING PURCHASED AN OUTDOOR ROTATING PARASOL IN 2019 UNDER THE PR MESSAGING IT IS DURABLE CAN BE LEFT OUT IN ALL CONDITIONS AND WILL LAST FOREVER TWO YEARS LATER IT IS COMPLETELY ROTTEN AND ALL THE MECHANICS HAVE BROKEN AWAY IT IS USELESS WE FOLLOWED UP AND THE COMPANY STATE THEY CANT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS PURCHASED MORE THAN TWO YEARS AGO WE PURCHASED TWO YEARS AND THREE MONTHS AGO DIDN T RECEIVE IT FOR TWO MONTHS POST PAYMENT AND COULDN T DO ANYTHING SOONER BECAUSE THE ISLAND WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF COVID FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS

Bad experience with hyde luxe parasol
Bought a hyde luxe parasol just over a year ago Nice umbrella but buyer beware the base of it is unstable The parasol came loose in a very light wind and took off flying breaking one of the support rods For 5 mos I ve been trying to get it fixed Even if I do get it fixed this product is not stable and could cause serious damage The tiles that hold it down are not actually attached to the umbrella No idea how a product like this met their quality standards I don t recommend this product nor the company s service standards

Is there a good way to contact Cane-Line We ordered 2 chairs to be delivered in June Not only have they not come but the company has not replied to our many attempts to contact them We have 4 of the same chairs and loved them so very disappointed that we can not get an update

Buyers beware after-sales service not acceptable
Beware of buying directly from this company Products are great looking but after sales service is terrible There are many retailers out there and design products to choose from at much more reasonable prices After sales service is key for a capital investment like this If you are set on Cane-Line make sure you buy through a reputable retailer instead of going through their direct sales channels UPDATE The company did contact me in the end after I posted reviews to offer me a refund for the rain cover I am waiting for this to happen but I updated to 2 stars from 1 I placed a large order worth more than USD 30 000 for an Ocean Joy Drop dining combination and a Moments Twist Roll sectional lounge combination with Focus Link Wove throw pillows Due to incorrect measurements posted on their website for the Moments sectional we ended up with a rain cover that did not fit the main corner piece of the sectional And when we politely pointed out this mistake to the company offering to return the unused rain cover for a replacement they dug their heals in Their after sales team is based in Denmark with no local contact in the US who is familiar with this market We exchanged a series of emails over several days and our patience slowly wore thin Cane-Line blankly refused to make good never even acknowledging their measurement mistake on the website that caused the error Instead of thanking me for finding the mistake they chose to point the blame to my designer Who had gone by these same online measurements It would have cost them maybe 1 of the order value 300 dollars including freight cost to correct this mistake and cement the relationship with 2 new customers so it is all mind boggling from a customer service perspective We were offered only free shipping if we bought a new full price cover Also beware of the that their products do not come assembled We are seasoned furniture buyers and the flimsy photocopied instructions with no explanatory text left a lot to be desired it took us hours to put everything together some instructions were even open to guesswork Especially for the Drop series The assembly stickers with numbers on the table legs of Twist Joy Drop took a while to scrape off and there is still glue residue on the metal The Moments sectional had about 8 mystery components and did not come with ANY instructions and we even looked long and hard on their website In the end we had to email them and got a one line response We still have mystery pieces left over The amount of non-recyclable packaging was also surprising coming from a company based in an environmentally conscious Denmark It required hours of separating and despite our best efforts a fair amount still had to go in the trash as it was stapled or glued together

This review is based on the ordering process not the goods as my goods are 3 weeks late and no indication when it might arrive As one of the reviews states below emails remain unanswered for days I have been told twice after I called them that the goods were on their way not once have I been offered an apology The people you talk to are all very nice but not helpful at all as they cannot tell me when anything will arrive Fingers crossed the goods are better then the service Update - per other reviews kristoffer has saved the day - excellent in his response - our goods arrived after he got involved he communicated clearly with me which is all I was looking for as I know things can be delayed at the moment The couch is fantastic we are delighted with it and hopefully the second one will not experience the same delays I am changing my review based on quality of goods and service from kristoffer- only thing I suggest is cane line get him to train others

Shipping UK customs delays but Cane Lane trying
The reality is that I paid for 5k s worth of furniture on 28 April with an estimated delivery of mid-July I still have nothing and the summer in the UK has now gone If it ever arrives the first time I ll be able to use it will be Spring 2022 a full year after paying for it I accept that Cane Line have had a tough time this year with the shipping situation and also Brexit in the UK with customs clearance delays so I guess the delivery estimates at point of order are just too optimistic but hopefully they will adjust these After discussing the delays with Kristoffer at Cane Lane he has chased up my orders whilst I still need to be patient he is doing what he can to push things along So I knocked a star off for the delays but will not deduct any more since Cane Lane have acknowledged the situation and are doing what they can
