Carwiz Split airport Perfect

Despite some fairly shocking reviews I took a chance on hiring a car from Carwiz at Split Croatia 10th-13th May I guess the main draw was the fact that they were considerably cheaper than anyone else plus I only wanted to drive from the airport to Podstrana just the other side of Split Slightly confusing start as I couldn t find their desk in the airport turns out there was a guy with a board with may name on it which I d missed because I wasn t looking for him Anyway found him and he took us to a minibus for the 60 second drive to their yard Straight into their office and the paperwork was sorted in 5mins Extra insurance was offered which I declined as I have a policy which covers the excess on any car hire They didn t try a hard sell on the insurance just offered it and then moved on just as it should be The car was a virtually brand new VW Golf auto which was an upgrade on the vehicle I had booked We had it for 4 days faultless On the return I refilled with fuel and walked around the car with a Carwiz rep I did video around the car on pick up and drop off I always do I also take a dash cam with me to assist should we have an accident which we didn t There were no issues and the 1000 which had been blocked on my credit card as all hire companies do some a bit more was confirmed released They then took us to the airport in the same car another 60secs and dropped us off about 10m from departures Just about as perfect as you could get Did we dodge a bullet Or have Carwiz Split airport turned a corner Either way I genuinely can t fault the service or the car

I can strongly recommend Carwiz car hire

We have just returned from holiday to Greece After arriving at Athens airport we had to wait for our transfer to Carwiz depot I read the instructions after booking the car hire so I was expecting a shuttle transfer to off the airpprt depot Last year in Spain I used a different car rental company which was cheap and also based away from the terminal So after waiting a couple of minutes Mr Dimitris came to collect us from the minibus area located outside the main terminal building The drive to the Carwiz office took about ten minutes during which Mr Dimitris gave us few tips on what attractions to visit After arriving at the depot I swiftly signed the paperwork I have provided all the necessary information prior to our arrival so it only took us a couple of minutes to do the paperwork We were presented with a lovely Citroen which has only done 14000 kilometres and looked quite new During our holiday we drove over eight hundred kilometres and the car didn t let us down I will definitely use Carwiz again

Very good service at Zadar Airport

We rented a car from Carwiz at Zadar airport Having read the Trustpilot reviews after having booked we were rather concerned about what might happen but the staff at Zadar airport were very honest and professional We got a nearly new Opel Astra at a very reasonable price and checked it carefully before leaving taking photos of every possible scratch When we returned the car the Carwiz representative did check it extremely carefully maybe a little bit over the top especially under the car so make sure that you also check for dents under the car when you receive it - and take photos of all possible dents and scratches I would still hesitate to rent a car from some of the other Carwiz agencies mentioned in these reviews but at Zadar airport Carwiz seems to be a good option
