Booked a car at budget Brussels Customer reception personal insist that they block the security deposit on your Visa card for only 48hrs after returning the car Truth is it takes 15 working days before deposit is unlocked Wonder why they initially insist on 48 hrs and insist it s the bank process later Terrible financial service

I understand the amount of bad reviews

I understand the amount of bad reviews that come through However I have had 3 usages in the last 2 years 2 were great no waiting times time of year winter and upgraded at the desk I did have to wait for 1 hour during a weekend but it was busy In general I think the one star is more a reflection of why people review- they are angry - these guys are no better or worse than the others

Outstanding customer care Due to COVID-19 I had to cancel my car reservation as the plane was canceled They did not only refund me the money things rarely happening in COVID-19 situation - see aviation industry where no one refunds money but they also found a way to refund me my 50 cancelation fee when I could not create an account to receive the voucher they prepared I was truly impressed

Good car good service

I rented my car through Wise Cars and found everything about the rental to be smooth with one exception and that is the fault of the Palm Beach International airport which provides very poor signage to direct you to the auto return lots Otherwise the pick up was easy by shuttle from baggage claim paperwork minimal and the car Mitsubishi Outlander was perfect for my needs Comfortable and economical I should mention that Wise Cars requires advance payment but with generous cancellation policy

Always had good experiences so far

I had no issues renting with Budget either in Australia or in the UK I even thought they were particularly flexible at the Exeter downtown agency They contacted me by text before the time of the booking and accepted to meet elsewhere in the city as we were not at the St David s station They also accept debit cards without problems even if you have a foreign license as long as you have the founds for the deposit of course So all in all compared to another experience with another company in the same city Europcar Budget was extremely good and helped us feel welcome in Devon

I read the reviews and was a little scared but my rental was out of the Denver airport location My booking was thru Wisecars I walked up to the counter with my paperwork They asked me if I wanted their insurance and I said no They said my balance was xxx I paid it then they gave me my paperwork and said my car was in row M car 11the keys were in it Not even five min and I was out the door Five more min and I was on the freeway It was freakin awesome

What a pleasure it was to deal with a straight forward car hire company Easy pick up on Marseille Airport no over sell on insurance I was asked once if I needed insurance politely The car was clean and in good condition On returning the car a very friendly and professional young lady called Isis proceeded to check the car and thank us for are business Perfect well done Budget
