The service is fine However I m not understanding what is happening and why my service is said to be disconnected if not paid by the 29th of December I just got the bill about 3dys ago I haven t haven t had service long enough to get a cutoff notice The apartment managers came to let me know what was going on They said my service would be transfered back to the apartment complex I called and no one answered I left a message Tried to send an email but the system was malfunctioning So please return my call or respond by email You are very much appreciated Thank you

I didn t see a start date option when I signed up and my old service was due to expire in 5 days I m not sure if I m going to get an early termination fee from my old provider This information should be more clear so customers don t accidentally sign up before their contract ends

Good service but companies are able to show rates that are not quite truthful The company that I chose called 4changenergy has rates as low as 9 cents but when you look through the plan a pdf that you have to download to see the true rates the prices are twice the rate until a certain amount is used Otherwise this service makes it very easy to find energy companies

I thought I was switching to a more affordable plan based on my research on the choosepower website but I ended up with a similar plan that isn t saving me much money

After filling out the required information hitting the submit button it comes back as not being available and gives us other companies Why ask our zip code have the plan option come up and then I choose it and go through the trouble of entering all my info and then telling me it s not available I don t get it

I never received my confirmation email It s very inconvenient because I need my account number to register my email to make an account Also not to mention I also need that number as a requirement to get my keys to my place But on the upside super easy to sign up and no payment required upon selecting a plan

The promo of 100 off sounded great but the amount we are paying for Kwh is over what other companies are offering and the transfer fees we are being charged are the same price as our electric use we are now stuck with a 300 bill every month for 2 years Not happy

I like the fact I get weekly emails on my electric consumption but I dislike especially the lies I was told my rate per kilowatt hour would be ten point nine percent I was not told that that rate would depend on my consumption of at least one thousand kilowatt hours I changed companies due to the price and now I m actually paying a little more But I m on a two year plan

Sign up was very easy 4 stars for that Forgot to click on the energy facts label until after and WOW what a surprise that was for a 24M contract for 2000 KWH home good rate considering all the other prices out there but use less than the 2k ooouch went up about 6 cents per KWH called and immediately cancelled Probably the quickest sign up and cancellation

I researched ChooseTexasPower org and selected Frontier Utilities based on pricing During the online application process despite a good credit rating I was advised that a security deposit would be required I searched again only to find that there were no plans that did not require a security deposit In need of housing while on a temporary assignment I paid the 225 00 security deposit required by Frontier Utilities Frontier Utilities provided me with a digital receipt for the deposit on their browser but when I attempted to print the document for record it came out blank Frontier Utilities failed to provide any written i e email acknowledgement of my payment and or confirmation of our service agreement Fast-forward I contacted ChooseTexasPower org via phone and had the pleasure of working with Shawnagay Shwanagay did the research and determined that Frontier Utilities was unable to provide service in my area Shwanagay was able to get me into a comparable rate with a more reputable provider that required no security deposit If it hadn t been for Shwanagay this would have been a ZERO POINT ZERO 0 0 reviewWord to the wise if you try to acquire service online with ChooseTexasPower org you re going to get hosed Online they ll blow smoke up your skirt and smile at you like a Cheshire cat Don t be scared Interaction with human beings is nice things get done Pick up the phone and talk to somebody anybody I don t know if I ll ever get my deposit back from Frontier Utilities but I can guarantee you that I ll never do business with any of these fenceposts again
