Bad quality green beans

The roast I m getting from their yirgacheffe is horrible Very inconsistent and other beans I roast are just fine I wrote them and asked about it but they ignored me

Good delivery time and ease of use on the website However I have my doubts about whether each coffee they send out is different or just the same bean Each order I placed I ordered an expensive whole bean and one of the standard And each time I did this even if I kept stock from my previous order all four bean varieties looked the same same sizes colour roasting smell and for the most part taste too etc The beans looked dry and lacked visible oils So I m not sure if there was any true difference at all between any of the beans If there is really a difference and not just a scam I couldn t tell No option to select preferred roasting type either

Reason I only gave 2 stars is purely

Reason I only gave 2 stars is purely due to the terrible service of Royal Mail and nothing to do with your product in anyway Not sure if this is due to level of price but the level of service received from Royal mail is awful you a reputable company that delivers when promised even during Covid pandemic we actually use DPDand yes they deliver as promised The coffee was awesome hats off to Jenni who tried to help out my intention was to purchase locally in the grinder and the coffee rather than the likes of Amazon but it just did not work out that way

We will find another supplier

Ours was not a small order and 2 of the packets broke in the post and were replaced immediately but it transpired that the bottoms of all of the bags were week and after having coffee beans everywhere we had to check and reseal all of the bags Some of the varieties we bought roast unevenly - which is down to many things - but not the roaster as we have had great success with other suppliers Unevenly roasted beans clog up the grinder Not a supplier we will use again

Great customer service coffee-not so great

Customer service speed attention to customers is exceptional New customer welcoming call was amazing If only coffee was good too Only one bag of 7 we got is drinkable Guess there was some roasting or storing issue as we re familiar with most of the kinds of beans we ve got and these tasted nothing like it It tasted burnt A little disappointing We really wanted to like you

The bean roast smelt amazing however

The bean roast smelt amazing however disappointed with the taste of Blue Mountain I found it weak in comparison to the coffee sold by the Marley brother which if half the price with lots of flavour Unfortunately I wouldnt purchase the coffee from Coffee Bean co again

Do not recommend

I ordered a coffee because of the incredibly positive opinions unfortunately after trying the coffee that I ordered - Seasonal 5 Bag Promotion Pack I am very disappointed and I am surprised why such a huge number of positive opinions because the coffee is really average and does not differ in taste from the average coffee from the supermarket Definitely a huge plus is very fast delivery and beautiful packaging Another thing I don t like very much is getting involved in politics Since the company does not support the war in Ukraine it should not send coffee to all the countries that send weapons to Ukraine instead of trying to help these poor people achieve peace Since when do you put out a fire by adding fuel to the fire Unfortunately I do not recommend
