Initially was happy with my consultation for AVCs salary protection and a savings plan But there was NO follow up from my consultant about my salary protection or savings plan Very disappointing and going elsewhere

Need to renew my health insurance I am currently in the US Cornmarket is so backed up that they call me back at 3 00am here I do not answer fast enough so they break the call and I am back at 146th in line This has been going on for days I don t know what to do My renewal date is very soon Update on 27 January 2023 The smug reply to my original Trust Pilot review that appeared on the site today is boilerplate don t know don t care What actually happened is that I did not get a reply from my email to Cornmarket in a timely fashion Instead I pressed the number for new subscriber was put through in under 10 seconds and was able to renew It is contemptible to leave longtime subscribers in the lurch while assigning staff to help new subscribers immediately This is unfortunately typical Irish business practice for too many companies It is unacceptable I will not use Cornmarket again

I signed up as a new client When I tried to contact the company I went around in circles several times via their phone system and eventually got placed on hold I had to hang up on each occasion as it was too long This was my first experience with the company so I cancelled the account

Different members of staff asked for different information and did not include my named driver in initial policy documents In the end I was charged more than the original quote and the whole process took too long I will not recommend Cornmarket to colleagues and I would be reluctant to use them again

I had reason to call in the first place due to slow service The lady on the phone was very helpful and dealt with my query but I still haven t received the documents that were supposed to be sent priority post and should have been sent a week and a half ago Yet the deposit could be taken immediately and the first installment was deducted already but I haven t received my documents or insurance disc

Cornmarket is part of the Irish Life Group I made a huge mistake in calling Cornmarket a few years ago before renewing my health insurance I was with VHI and they surprise surprise advised me to switch to Irish Life Health who has turned out to be a disaster Apart from all the wait penalties I had to suffer due to switching providers Irish Life Health insurance make it as difficult as possible when trying to make claims

Contacted Irish Life in late August to request an updated statement along with projections They said they weren t responsible for this strange as I received them from Irish Life in previous years They seemed to be more concerned that I might be moving my funds rather then providing me with information on my investments they then referred me to Cornmarket When I contacted Cornmarket I was told I would be sent a statement and nearly two weeks later I m still waiting

We used the tax return service and it was terrible Mistakes made poor contact very expensive for such little personal interaction In one instance they just ignored income that was in the form would not recommend Much better to find a tax service that will go through it with you rather than just working from a form

Had car insurance with Cornmarket as broker I had to chase down the renewal quote Also had to chase down the insurance disc and paperwork took close to 2 weeks to arrive The renewal quote was over 100 more than another company When I queried this I was told that insurance companies bid to insure different professions then are the insurers used by Cornmarket for the next 4 years Not much incentive to be competitive then
