Great courses that are well resourced

Great courses that are well resourced and always legitimate I ve taken 6 or so courses and I ve always enjoyed the experience Whenever I ve had issues scoring billing they ve got back to me quickly and with the information that I needed It s somewhat annoying that I can only see my notes on a video by clicking on the video itself This makes reviewing my notes difficult I d like to be able to see all my notes for a course on one page

Mixed Experience

Unfortunately I have to add to the negative reviews I LOVED taking Coursera s courses I signed on for a paid subscription and had to cancel 2 months later I learned a lot and was inspired to enroll in classes I went onto their site and followed their instructions to cancel They stated they would send an email to confirm the cancellation but never did 2 weeks later they auto renewed my subscription and billed me I went onto their site and cancelled again Still no email confirming my cancellation arrived I had to get a refund from my credit card and block them from doing this again I too was unable to find a direct phone number or email address to have them rectify this It s a sad ending because I enjoyed their online courses If anyone at Coursera can help my cancellation transaction is 3142319ETA - OMG they just emailed me There are actual people there Thank you for contacting us I understand that you canceled the subscription and receive another charge for June I will be happy to assist you with this I will proceed to escalate your refund request to our support specialists who will be reaching back to you within the next 24 hours to follow up on this If you have any more questions please let us know Best regards LukeCoursera Support Team This came from noreply salesforce I assume we can t directly interact with them But there is some life there and a chance at resolution More stars

I like a lot of the courses but

UPDATE It turned out that this course didn t have a certificate but there was a glitch on the website which said it did but of course couldn t produce it I brought this to the attention of the engineering dept and they re fixing it ------------------OLD I like a lot of the courses but Coursera itself doesn t always give you what you pay for In my case they have failed to give me a certificate for one of my courses where I was supposed to get it and getting meaningful responses from Support is very difficult

A good learning platform

I currently have a Plus subscription and over the year I ve audited and gotten some paid certificates from this platform Courses can be a bit of a hit or miss but overall as long as you do your research if you have an interest it s likely you can find some that you will enjoy Personally I think how useful the certificates are mostly tied to what you do with them as in trying to get good projects out of them anything that you can put on your portfolio and well documented which can be a nice adition to your CV profile when applying for jobs The cons - Sadly there are some courses that are no longer available I had saved some in my bookmarks and when I had the time to try them they weren t there ofc this was after months or years though - Some people put no effort in peer reviews either in their submission or when reviewing which makes courses be seen in a bad way - They should have more people interacting with students in forums sometimes you can ask something and it can take a long time to get an answer if any They totally should hire mentors or more instructors or any other support staff

Great platform

Great platform I like the courses a lot of different themes are in here so I can study everything I want for my career Professors are very intelligent and additionally I can easily understand their accents not a native speaker But the payments for the certificates are so expensive not everyone can afford it I ll be great if I can get some certificates in a half price
