I thought I would write this review on Do you really get what you pay for

I thought I would write this review on Christopher Pratt s Because it is not often you get to read reviews about how long your Sofa is expected to last you We purchased 2 x two Italian leather sofas and 1x chair plus an ottoman to match all pretty expensive as is always at Pratt s but as the saying goes you get what you pay for or do you really we purchased these just over four and half years ago well we are now looking to buy a replacement from DFS after one of the Sofas Is sagging to such an extent that you end up with crippling back ach we were told that the leather from Italy was some of the best also the seating has pocket springs which will last you years well on this occasion just over 4years to be precise the leather is still in fantastic condition but what s the point in getting a good leather sofa when the workings pocket springs only last a few years we are now in the process of looking at the cheaper end of the market because as stated what s the point of being convinced that You get what you pay for when in actuall fact you really don t Updated Review Just six days after my original Review above I am now comfortabley sat on my Sofa for the first time in months thank you David in customer service at Pratts for contacting me within 24hrs of the Review to arrange at Pratts expense for BTScotts upoholsters to come and assess the problem Sofa Jordan BT Scott s arrived promptly at 11 00am Today 8th March 2018 and had the repaires done by 11 45am my sofa seems like new now and one thing for sure is I wish I had contacted Pratt s first before posting my Review I cannot thank Pratts enough for the way they handled my Review within a week they reacted and the repairs completed if there were 6 stars available that s what I would be marking Pratt s of Leeds for the customer service was superb and the proffesionlism shown was without question the best ever many many thanks Christopher Pratt s and we will most certainly be shopping with you once again if and when we need some more quality furniture

New Sofas

1 week ago we received our two new sofas we rang and informed them on the same day that we were unsatisfied with the stitching on zips We were told a customer services person would contact us to discuss the problem We are still waiting We also called at the store and spoke to an assistant who could not have been more disinterested if he was trying He informed us that customers services were probably very busy this smacked of loads of problems with their furniture Still waiting for them to call me to resolve the problem Further to this post I have had to accept the sofas with the zips as they are Still not happy about it but decided to order arm caps to protect the arms Waited about 3 weeks then called to ask for a delivery date only to find they had not been ordered even though I had paid them Now about a month on we have just had them delivered they are fine except one of them has a mark on it its not too noticeable so I am not going to contact them about this as I just don t want to go through it all again with them Thank god we keep our furniture a long time and won t be buying another suite for a long time but certainly will not be going to them again Shocking customer service

Halo sofa no no no

I have had my Halo Saddlenut sofa and chair just over a year and it looks totally different to what it did when I purchased it It was a lovely warm brown coloured leather but now it is more yellow I am told by Pratts this is because it is a natural leather which will fade in the light If I had known this from the beginning I would not have purchased it Pratts are not interested in rectifying this I thought they were a better company than that Very unhappy and will not be shopping there again

Cheaper but lacking

These guys are cheaper slightly than Barker and Stonehouse for example but are seriously lacking in quality of customer service and products aren t put together well For example half time can t contact them when you do the staff seem unaware and lacking in knowledge of your order Sofa we got wasn t up to standard and was delivered with half the amount of protective packaging compared to orders we have placed with Barker and Stonehouse Classic case of get your money then don t care about you Shame as these smaller companies need as much custom as possible

We ordered a Stanton 3 Seat bench on

We ordered a Stanton 3 Seat bench on 4th December 2020 from the Leeds store After waiting beyond the due date of end of Feb we contacted the store numerous times Delays were not communicated until we chased the store then the facts were inconsistent depending on who answered the phone Eventually we requested to deal with the supplier Tom Savage from Carlton Furniture was brilliant and at last we were getting somewhere Thought we d call Paul Griffin to let him know the trouble we ve had but he s not returning our calls Sales are important but so is after sales Don t ignore that guys

Nice shop interior but delivery is terrific

Nice and well-designed shop But the delivery is terrific We bought an ex-display sofa which was there in the shop already and we only live 5 miles away Shop assistant Duncan said we should get a call in a couple of days It was already a week ago and it wasn t delivered nor we get any calls I called the shop again to ask when will we receive it but the lady wasn t able to give any estimates A few weeks to make a 5-mile home delivery The system is broken How long shall we wait now
