Something s changed

Usually really responsive and speedy in delivery of funds Not sure whether there have been staff changes but unresponsive slow just not as supportive as on previous occasions

Credit union have help me allot the downside I am frustrated because I am travelling ti Angola I tried ti transfer some money from the savings to current account and keeps saying Thayer u have insufficient money right now I am nervous because I don t have any cash with me and I m travelling to Angola on the 16 02 23 l

Definitely glad I went to them

When I first made the application I was so happy as the staff made me feel that it was ok to ask they checked I had all the documents I needed and gave me the form to omelets there and then sending me to a quiet room to do so I loved the system of letting you know how things were progressing until things paused because they needed more information and I only discovered by accident Similarly I have been told that my loan has been agreed and payment made by checking on the link as I hadn t had text or email as I did at the beginning of the process but the isn t in my account obviously when it s in I d be giving them 10 out 10 but until I know that I have the it s 3 5 because I don t want to be paying back xx for money given to someone else or still in credit union coffers I am so glad I went to them and when it s all ok the process has been straightforward and everyone I ve interacted with has been lovely

Applying for a loan was very quick but unfortunately there was no option to actually speak to someone It was all completed online Considering the company states its a community service that did not come across with my experience Found the experience cold and harsh

Frustrating but decent

Despite there being some issues which made me decide not to proceed any further they did actually acknowledge their shortcomings This is why I changed my review Honesty and an apology if only the banks would do the same Thank you

London mutual have helped me over the

London mutual have helped me over the years with being able to obtain a loan so for that I am very grateful However they have never given me what I have asked for despite the fact that I am am able to pay it back They need to improve on the length of time it takes from applying for a loan to getting it issued currently takes 10 days if you are in desperate need of the money What I do like is that they encourage you to save while paying the loan back

I applaud the fact that you are willing

I applaud the fact that you are willing to help a low income people but also would like you to know that being an ethical institution you should not charge the same customer at the extreme APR rates Either take out the ethical from your mission statetment or lower your rates and keep it

Confusing to deal with

I ve given them 3 stars because I m happy that they granted me a loan as I needed it for an urgent home repair However the process was quite confusing and convoluted and it took ages I emailed the same completed forms several times as I kept getting emails stating that they hadn t received them Today I called them because I thought I only had one payment left but apparently that s not the case - I still have two to go The explanation I was given for this was as clear as mud but at least the loan is nearly paid off now
