Cuorinol paint is lovely great because water based great because it has good properties to protect wood Terrible because the inadequate misleading instructions a thing they ve known about has caused customers problems for many many years they still haven t addressed despite saying years ago they would do so it s a case of buy our paint that s all we care about and customers can give us their money and vanishThey tell you one coat is minimum they don t tell you that if you don t apply a second coat within 8 hours you can t apply one at all as the dry paint repels water and its a water based paint so it s repelled once it s dried Unless like me you search fir the answer which is break down the surface with white spirit then coat two will not be acceptedThey ve heard customers concerns and worries and problems and in the early 2000s said they would write clearer instructions They still haven t done so plainly they don t care t So people like me have to go through tedious extra work easily avoided if they communicate better far from using a water based product thinking its kinder to the environment you end up using solvents and undo your little bit to helpReally annoyed I had thought I had time to apply the second coat to a large area in the garden at my leisure had I known the problem with the paint I would have done a smaller area would have had the energy y to do it twice on the same day Fir example today is 35c who wants to do that job twice on a roasting day like today Cuprinol effectively force you to or you have to leave the painting fir another day or month and you may not fancy doing it when the weather s cold and the woods not completely dryI m not impressed Nice paint well designed but shame about the lack of brains that produce the tins or more likely the instructions which are probably done by yet another company or the lack of care for customersMaybe their right hand doesn t talk to the left or they are tone deaf to what their customers need to know or what they ask for A letdown fancy making a great priced lovely product and letting it down over details easily fixed

color very nice but after 2 months it rinses off my fence disappointed

This is the second year I ve use cupinal on my new chair wooden ones it s terrible thin paint and if u knock the chair moving it the paint comes off I ve done 3 coats Last time I waste any more money on this brand

Easy to paint the fence appears thick paint Lasted less than a year before the paint had washed off Do not recommend Especially as the lattice that I also painted is a pain to do

Wish I d read these reviews before painting my garden furniture Looked great at first but has now started coming off did three coats Very disappointed just thankful I haven t yet started a fence that I had planned to do

This shade is a lot darker than expected More dark grey than the expected silver Online every photo shows a slightly different shade I think it needs renaming Good coverage though Stays on the brush well

I used Cuprinol Garden Shades in Natural Stone This product is awful to apply Runny like water don t get much coverage and 1-2 coats is still not enough It took 6 5ltr tins to do my small garden fences at two coats Still needs another coat really I gave it two stars because the end result colour is lovely but mighty expensive 240 in total on this paint to do a small garden

Bought Cuprinol country cedar anti slip decking paint and it s terrible I have done 3 coats on each of my decking areas In the garden and it s all patchy and different colours I have never had an issue with Cuprinol however I don t think their paint is as good as it used to be and it s not cheap either

Such poor customer service I used the ducksback product There is nothing on the instructions to advise that if the product goes on any other service to wash off immediately I thought that the product was a fence stain rather than a paint I spilt a lot on my Indian sand stone patio I have spent a lot of time effort and money trying to remove what I now know is paint with no success There should be a warning on the product to wash off immediately Upon contacting customer service all they advised was to jet wash and sent a google link Needless to say that the first thing I had done was to google for assistance My patio appears to be permanently stained

Used Cuprinol shades urban slate for my shedDecided to change the colour put first coat on and the old surface seams to be repelling the new paint any suggestions
