As a maker of troughs planters and window boxes my customers deserve the best and Cuprinol Ducks Back is the very best The stain is thick easy to apply and the job is done in just two coats When dry you can spray water on the wood and like a newly polished car the water just runs right off Compared to Ronseal Fence Life Plus there is no competition Fence life may be cheaper but when you open the container you soon see why The stain is like water and to make things even worse the same piece of decking takes at least four coats to get anything like a decent look In the end the cheaper product ands up costing you more if like me you use a lot Cuprinol Ducks back is truly amazing to use with fantastic results every time

I had an issue with a batch of Cuprinol timber paint I thought it lacked body I rang Cuprinol and with no quibble they gave me vouchers to replace what I had On the strength of that I bought from another retailer to ensure that I got a different batch The new batch is fine Excellent customer service

I rang Cuprinol Customer Services today for advice on which product to use on fence posts previously coloured with Shades willow green as we had bought new natural fence replacement panels and wanted the posts to tone in Tariq went to a lot of trouble to explain why no Cuprinol or Ronseal products would provide the cover we needed on the posts how to make sure all trace of wax was removed from said posts and went on to suggest a couple of products that would do the job we wanted One was a Dulux product Ultimate Opaque and the other from Sikkens range Rubbol Satura and both solvent based He went to great pains to explain the benefits of these products and likely sourcesand that they both had a wide range of colours I really wasn t expecting so much help and guidance Tariq s response was exceptional - and I m invited to call him again if I need more help

Nav at customer service Cuprinol Dulux has been fantastic helping to resolve my concerns about a fence panel I had stained that turned out too dark which had been done with a different make Nav explained how Garden Shades will resolve this issue and how best to achieve the result wanted A big thank you

bought a leaky garden shedbought a garden shed from ELBA GARDEN BUILDINGS 6x4 windowless supposed to be pressure treated wood delivered on time went together no trouble so far so good it rained water soaked through the sides the front and the rear spoke to company you have put the felt on improperly water not coming through roof water coming through sides wasted days talking to customer services got fed up waiting for resolution bought cuprinol two coats all good what ever you do do not buy one of these garden sheds the are not designed to keep out the water by the looks this was not thousands of pounds worth of shed i have not lost much the Cuprinol was not too expensive it was more the fact they treat you as if you are an idiot by blaming the felt being put on wrong not leaking through roof clearly soaking through supposedly pressure treated wood Curinol two coats and the problem went away easy to apply spray or roller or brush dried quickly this stuff saved me a lot of hassle i highly recommend it

I had an experience with white daisy cuprinol due to the wood showing stains through the paint so phone customer services and spoke to Ryan he was very confident explaining what had happened and cant thank him enough for the advice and information he passed on we need more people like Ryan in this world thanks again extremely recommended ThanksGrant

I used Cuprinol Garden Colours Forget Me Not on 6 panels of new fence as well as the existing concrete posts which had previously been painted with dark oak wood stain Followed the instructions of two coats within 8 hours and the result is perfect The coverage on the brown concrete is incredible Also used on a wooden gate which had previously been painted with gloss also great result I would certainly recommend this product

This review is for Cuprinol cladding fence in a green TIN bucket Not to be confused with all that wishy washy water based fence paint It s 50 odd for a 10 litre tin but trust me it saves faffing about with the water based ones in the 10 litre plastic containers which sell for 11 to 22 I tried Ronseal like water waste of time and money Then Johnstone s as above both crap This stuff will save you at least 5 hours I put this on 10 6x6 larchlap panels that are 9 years old that had been Previously painted red cedar about 6 years ago Which was over golden Chestnut 9 years ago 2 coats easily covered over it and one 10 litre TIN was enoughcuprinol-cladding-fence-opaque

I m staggered at the reviews here as I ve used Ducks Back on my 20 year old wooden windows and it covered brilliantly - even where the windows had growth from damp it covered perfectly
