Make it difficult to move providers

OK product and service But now trying to move money to a different provider and they ve been stalling for over 4 months Very frustrating process

Disappointed

I recently took out a lump sum from my pension pot Have received the funds but no P45 P60 I ve paid 2k in emergency tax and need to fill in a P53 to get a refund from HMRC Called customer services was put on hold for a while as needed PAYE number to complete the form No one could give me this information and I was told to send an email with my request This is delaying my tax rebate received a reply from my email saying that they had a backlog to work through Surely sending this information once you ve received your withdrawal should be a normal procedure and should not have to be chased I ve not had a problem with other pension providers before and have always managed to speak to customer services and get an answer straight away I have phoned again today 15th April for my PAYE code was kept waiting for 25 minutes and they still could not give me the information I needed Went on to Government Gateway account while I was on hold and found the information I needed Much quicker to Google the information you need than to be kept on hold for them to get back to you without the information you require Hoping the P45 I requested a week ago turns up soon

Money not received in quote timeline - updated after call with cushon

I made a withdrawal request last Sunday and was led to believe that it takes up to 5 working days for the money to be deposited into my account from the withdrawal confirmation I received I have not received the money so I emailed customer service who emailed back promptly to say that the timescales depend on the fund manager and that once the funds have been sent to Cushon the withdrawal should complete in approximately 2-3 working days from there That is well past the expected and documented timescales I called this morning and spoke to someone who said they worked there on reception and he couldn t help me which is fair enough I just want my money in my account I don t think that s too much to ask UPDATE - I spoke to Jo who was incredibly helpful she explained how they have updates timelines and processes and was apologetic A great asset to the team Jill

A little disappointed

I find the app hard to negotiate I find the messages confusing contributions show a top up from the government which I don t think is correct as I pay by salary sacrifice I use other pension apps Standard life and royal London and they are very clear and helpful and easy to use I will not be transferring my other pension to Cushon as i feel i do not have any confidence in them

Ok app but poor fund performance

I have a stocks and shares ISA with Cushon Whilst the app and information provided by Cushon is fairly good performance of the CushonMix fund has been poor for a while now It s noticeable when compared to other tracker mix funds through other ISAs I hold that their performance is sub-optimal It would be helpful to understand from Cushon why their funds are not meeting standards set by their competitors

Basic proposition is ok tech is a shambles

Basic proposition is ok but the tech experience is poor especially via the Web Trying to help my wife make an ISA contribution even finding her existing pot had to go through multiple clicks tried and failed to update an email address after getting sent 3 verification codes simultaneously

The customer service could be greatly

The customer service could be greatly improved I put in an enquiry in at the end of August via email and did not hear back until the end of September It was 1 month before I got an reply At this stage I would be hesitant in recommending Cushon at all Even then the enquiry was not fully resolved

So so until you try to transfer out

So so app Limited functionality and choices But works ok However I ve been trying to transfer my small pension in Cushon to HL and it s proving painful with delays and no communication in response to HL over three months plus I ve also contacted Cushon multiple times When I ve had a response it s been unhelpful Currently I just get automated responses You have been warned There are better providers out there if you have a choice I appreciate that sometimes you don t
