Very pleased with the very fast and most importantly quality WGS results from Dante The lab in Houston processed the sample in only 10 days incredible speed I will definitely be coming here for my next WGS

Fast simple and an extensive amount of data to explore

After ordering the DNA sequencing kit it arrived in a few days with a return envelope and instructions The kit was easy to use Once sent back the sequencing was done in about two months 8 weeks as advertised The company provided the raw sequenced reads FASTQ aligned data BAM and variant calling VCF files The sequencing seems to be 30x coverage with 150 base pair reads It is nice to be able to explore the aligned reads directly from the website Everything is available for download and allows to explore more on our own The sequencing also came with a few health related reports that explain variants in genes the explanation comes with the rsID of the variation the genotype and references which is nice The only minor complaint I have is that the sequencing and variant calls are aligned to hg19 which is not the latest human reference genome This should not impact most users and those who want their data aligned to GRCh38 hg38 probably know how to do a liftover but it would be nice to have the BAM VCF directly aligned to GRCh38 Overall very satisfied by the service and fair price

The ability to use the Self

The ability to use the Self Administered test was awesome Dante Labs both promptly delivered the kit and processed each test as returned I rushed the first test and mistakenly forgot to pre-register and Dante was still able to receive and recognize my test I am so grateful for the efficiencies of this process
