terrible customer service
I bought expensive faucets and a tub faucet from Decorplanet com to the tune of 2500 in advance of a bathroom renovation project They did not bother to contact me to let me know that the faucets had been discontinued By the time I realized that I hadn t received the items and called them I had very few choices of other faucets that were available and that I could get in time I d spent tens of hours picking the first choice I had to make repeated calls and worked with 3 customer service agents before I found one who actually helped me find new ones Then they fired that helpful person In the meantime I bought a number of matching and very expensive robe hooks and towel rings They were all very late in arriving there were very confusing communications about their shipping and some were never even sent--again until I called AGAIN and asked where they were Everything was so delayed that by the time I could install them I realized that most of the hooks and rings didn t work When I tried to return them I got NO response for weeks I had to make repeated calls to get an RMA number which I finally got Then they refused to waive the 15 restocking fee Incredible I would NOT recommend them

I had truly horrible experience with this company After receiving a defective product I reported the issue immediately and was asked to sent a picture of the product Despite the fact that I sent many pictures of the defective merchandise as well as its original packing box all DecorPlanet offered me is 50 off of a replacement I should have checked this business on Better Business Bureau where 33 complaints were filed with this company in the past 12 month before making a purchase and never gotten into this trap Do not make the same mistake and read yourself about this company at Better Business Bureau

Loads of complaints in Better Business Burea
I regret that I didn t go on the Better Business Bureau website to check out his company before I ordered from them They have 78 complaints against them - and most of them are within the last year Their staff is very incompetent and product quality not much better From the start they took down the order information incorrectly and mix-up the order then couldn t figure out why I had not received a confirmation I let it go because I thought it was resolved but since then trying to get additional product information order status delivery date etc it has been a nightmare - their staff either given me misinformation ignored my messages never called me back etc I ended up canceling the order Shop elsewhere unless you have the time and patience to deal with such incompetence - and possibly a poor quality product

Be careful they don t actually have most products in stock
Before placing my order their sales rep assured me they have the items available to ship out within days I placed my order with them based on this and their lower prices than others Although 8 out of the 9 items were to be shipped out within 3 business days they did not actually ship When I contacted them about it they said they all of the items must have gone out of stock since I placed my order and it would take 4 weeks just for them to get them back in stock After one excuse from them and another it then took an hour to get them to agree to refund my money for products they never had in stock in the first place I would give them zero stars if I could as they run their business as if they were a scam operation I would never recommend anyone buy from them

This is a terrible company Nobody takes ownership Our delivery has been in transit for wks and every other day they tell us it will come in the next day and nobody at Decor Planet seems to know what is going on Terrible service and company to deal with all around

Do not buy from DecorPlanet
Do not buy from DecorPlanet The product took not a maximum of 10 days but 25 days to arrive I was supposed to be given a call to schedule delivery but was not and it arrived when I was out of town They only give you 48 hours to inspect for damage and I didn t return until a week later When the plumber removed the toilet from the box and the base of the skirting was badly broken Not only will DecorPlanet not refund my money 734 they said I was responsible for disposal of the broken toilet Break it up into little pieces I was told I m 74 years old and the toilet weighs more than I do I ve had to buy a second toilet locally and pay the plumber for two visits Never buy from DecorPlanet

Almost 6 months since order was placed and have gotten nothing but false dates and runaround waiting for parts of order Project is at a total standstill Stay away from this company

Waste of Time
Took them nearly two weeks to figure out they couldn t get the item I d only ordered from them because they said it would ship within about a week Thanks a lot for wasting my time when I could have been sourcing the fixture elsewhere

Walk Away Now Leverage a PriceMatch Instead
We purchased all of our faucets and shower trim units for our entire house remodel This includes 3 bathrooms kitchen and butler s pantry So many items First it was manufacturer delays Okay I can buy that there is a worldwide pandemic going on But then it was finger pointing everywhere More manufacturer delays weather fedex pretty much any excuse other than their own incompetence My guess is they are robbing Peter to pay Paul It s been over 2 MONTHS I still don t have the vast majority of our order Customer service has no recourse All they have is an email for the warehouse which gets ignored Your only recourse is to cancel your order and get your money back

Very poor customer service
Ordered an item in August According to them it would ship out in three days After over a month of non arrivals I tried emailing them Sadly no response at all After a few more days I escalated my case with PayPal and they gave me a prompt refund So sadly decorplanet not replying to messages does not build client confidence or credibility It is only after PayPal sent me the closure that they replied saying your order is cancelled and the refund has been issued I wish I had read the other reviews here before It would have saved me a lot of time and trouble
