This is an overall approach that has really worked

I am angry about my weight and that was my motivation to try this diet This diet app gives you a total approach to weight loss if you want to use it There are lots of good things about the approach Instead of counting calories it divides foods into groups and specifies a recognizable serving size like a baseball or deck of cards and tells you how many servings a day It gives you a weekly shopping list that will assure you have everything you need for prep You can have unlimited servings of vegetable and fruits so if you are hungry you can snack instead of agonize It has daily different short exercise routines It has a feature where you can scan bar codes on commercial foods and it will automatically add the components to your food list There is a private Facebook group which has been useful to get answers to little things about the diet or app The admins are prompt to reply to questions I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is I would never have tried some of the things without them being on the menu There is a series of daily achievable goals that help modify your behavior You can check these off daily so you actually accomplish something every day if you stick to it I don t feel scolded if I don t make a perfect day I m working out some of the problems For example I have not been able to get three meals a day prepared every day due to life events but because I have the ingredients due to the weekly shopping list I ve cooked some meals out of order I m hoping this makes no difference My husband was not initially on board I told him he did not have to eat with me but that I was doing this He reluctantly agreed to try He is diabetic and lost 6 pounds the first week and his blood sugar has been measurably lower for the week so he s getting on board

I love this program

I love this program which is easy to follow and the recipes are delicious and time saving to make I lost in 12 weeks 28 pounds and feel much better now and with the added exercise program my muscles get stronger I struggled before with other programs to loose weight especially because I felt hungry and had issues with low blood sugar I can only recommend the Mayo Clinic diet

After 3 weeks

After 3 weeks I lost 15lbs I have plenty more to lose But their program especially the tracker is making a big difference with my main issue i e portion control It also has many good resources to learn from and lean on I have a long road ahead of me but I m cautiously optimistic that their approach and tools will help me get and maintain my ultimate goals

In week 3 and loving it

I ve started week three and have lost 7 pounds I m not on facebook and am not doing coaching sessions so I m learning my way around the app on my own I m really comfortable with it now Switching meals is so easy and you can edit the individual ingredients if you make substitutions or change portions The recipes are so simple for me but I m very comfortable in the kitchen The meals have been delicious and my husband also enjoys them

Mayo Clinic Healthy Eating Plan

This eating plan is wonderful I have lost seven pounds in the first two weeks which is important to me but of even greater importance is my blood sugar is better under control I don t often feel hungry thus am not tempted to eat sweets in a desperate need to feel better I am aiming for a better A1c result in March Thank you for helping me to achieve what seemed to be impossible

This Diet is a Life-Changer

I can t recommend this diet enough not a scam worth every penny This diet has a wide range of meal plans tasty recipes and a unique tracker that is extremely helpful in encouraging and motivating me I bought the six-month plan in preparation for a vacation this summer but the good eating and exercise habits I m building will stay with me forever

Amazing results

I have been on the program for 2 weeks and have lost almost 12 pounds I do not feel like I am starving because the amount of food is sufficient and on top of that the recipes are very tasty

Highly recommend the pre-diabetic diet

I was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic My dr recommend the Mayo Clinic pre-diabetic diet for weight loss and to get my glucose under control I have been on this diet for two weeks and have lost 9lbs I LOVE the way the program online is set up It tells me what I can eat for breakfast lunch dinner and snacks it even gives you the recipe If I don t want to eat a particular meal I can swap it out for something different It tracks everything for me This couldn t be easier
