I have been very pleased with the relative simplicity of the menu which is good for me as a male with very limited cooking experience I made the right choice in selecting the simple menu The web site is generally user friendly and keeps up with menus week by week If I have a complaint it is that some of the menu items such as Quinoa are not readily available in the rural area where I live

The Mayo Clinic Diet is well organized

The Mayo Clinic Diet is well organized It provides tools to track your eating and exercise as well as tons of meal plans and recipes I also really like the online community Everyone is so supportive and MCD administration answers questions quickly After following the diet for two weeks I lost 10 pounds I always felt full and felt like I was eating really healthy meals The tools I have been given are helping me make diet decisions that will hopefully stop the yo-yo dieting I experienced for years

Nothing but the Facts

The application seems to work on the Windows PC but the Apple Ipad version need to refresh screen after updates and deletes I am eating basic food as I clean up my pre-cooked item from starting the diet Shortly I will try the menus they have but working using the plate portions has me down 7 pounds

My wife have just completed the lose it phase and have enjoyed most meals I have lost 16 pounds so far and have not experienced fatigue or loss of strength So far so good not sold on vegetarian lifestyle though so we will have to see how that goes

The program works lost 23lbs in my first month Great variety to the meal plans I am using the Mediterranean but designed by a real chef so be prepared to spend significant extra time shopping often over a dozen ingredients per recipe prepping cooking and cleaning up afterwards Knocked one star off as this service isn t great for single folk better for couples or families Too many wasted ingredients Haven t tried their simple meal plan yet that sounds like it will solve many of my issues

The diet provides realistic recipes There is considerable prep for some meals but they are often in quantities that suffice for two-three meals The meal tracking requires some practice I prefer paper but use it to check calories to make certain I m not inadvertently cheating Lot s of info and support I ve lost 12 pounds in two weeks I d recommend this diet over packaged diets I m using the Mayo diet I might switch to the Mediterranean option in the future

The results are there 2 weeks and 10 pounds Just follow the meal and exercise plans and you will lose weight Changing how and what you eat is not an easy thing to do but the program helps by guiding you with comprehensive meal plans and recipes to help take the guess work out of the equation Only gave 4 stars because it can be difficult to navigate the Meal Planner Shopping List function when trying to accommodate two people with different meal plans and dietary needs

Very intelligent diet

I think the Habit Tracker is what works the best for me along with the simple menu that I chose also the serving sizes are helpful too While I feel it is taking me a few weeks to get used to a whole new way of eating and changing some habits along with learning some new ones this is the diet that I believe is the best one for me and will help me keep the weight off in the long run Thank you for creating this most doable diet

I reached my goal of losing 18 lbs in 12 weeks I have had great success and very pleased with the tools available with the MCD There are also seven of my family members who have great success on the MCD However the tracker could use some improvement to make it more consumer friendly 1 Searching for food items should include unknown versions of the majority of items A lot of brands we use in Texas aren t in the tracker Also when we eat out we go to healthy restaurants that make their own dishes The tracker search is generally chain restaurants which tend to not be healthy 2 Measurements in the tracker should include more options than listed for all items For example it s very difficult to track one teaspoon when the option only offers one cup 3 The Meal Plan should allow you to swap meals between breakfast lunch and dinner That then allows for more accurate and easier planning

I love this program

I love this program Even though I have reached the suggested goal weight I want to lose a few more pounds for wiggle room What I like most is the variety of food options and the ability to swap meals that I don t care for I have really focused on portion control and feel my healthy habits will be sustainable over time The only reason I gave the program 4 stars is it took me time to understand all the flexibilities tracking
