Wouldn t use these as they take over a

Wouldn t use these as they take over a company going into administration and don t honour the payments as the person with dementia didn t inform them to cancel Total loss I would trust someone in a balaclava with a gun more

Poor customer services and no communications or progress

My Uncle who recently passed away had a fully paid Funeral plan with Dignity that was transferred to them a number of years ago After his passing we found there were no local funeral directors so were advised we could cancel the plan After numerous emails and calls I still have no idea when and how much money I am due from the plan being cancelled In the mean time the family have needed to pay for the funeral out of their own money I wouldn t advise using this company you are better off choosing a plan with a local funeral director

How come this company is still trading beggars belief Are they not answerable to anyone Update 30 01 24 finally had a response from Dignity telling me there s nothing they can do My money is gone apparently they have had no funds from Pride Planning What a load of codswallop They then asked me if I d like to continue the plan unbelievable You kidding me They truly beggar belief Please do not go there folks Update folks I have contacted their resolutions team several times to NO avail still useless 21 2 24

Keep well away

Went with the Mexborough branch S Yorkshire Millwoods absolutely terrible Lied about stuff then back tracked Made my mam look like a prostitute with all the make up they put on her never asked if she wore make up which at 86 she didn t told me they don t embalm them any more unless requested but charged me for it anyway When challenged they lied and had a go a me a grieving daughter and they were shouting and being very unprofessional Put a complaint into dignity and nothing got sorted I ve warned my kids under no circumstances do they let this joke of a company deal with my funeral when I die if they do I wil come back and haunt them No compassion at all Think it s time they sacked the existing staff and start again Give me a job id do a better job than the ones u av working for u

My Patience is Running Out

Similar to Patricia Rush s review of 23 Jan I have the same ongoing difficulty I transferred from Pride Planning at end Oct 22 Dignity promised a welcome pack in 6 8 wks Nothing Loads if phone calls emails never answered I would now like my 3 450 which was transferred to Dignity from Pride Planning with immediate effect I am so sick of being ignored

Very poor service provided by FC HUGHES

Very poor service provided by FC HUGHES Hedge End Less than 24 hours before the service Stuart called me to inform me they had forgotten to produce an order of service To make matters worse he then continued to tell me they had lost our chosen pictures I cannot begin to explain how stressful this was at a very difficult time His overall attitude and handling was a disgrace

Used once Wish I didn t go back 2nd time

Had used them before in March 2024 and thought they were fantastic and had no complaints whatsoever so thought what a great idea to use them again HOW WRONG I WAS TO DO SO They agreed to inform me when my Mum would be cremated and then failed to do so only to tell me when I called THEM that she had already been cremated 2 days prior to this Disgusted isn t even the word and this also caused a lot of upset for my family who all intended on getting together for a celebration of her life

I was sent an invoice after I had paid by BACS Contacted by their complaints dept after they had rung me and asked security questions including details of my dead mother How insensitive can these people be They had phoned us so no need for the so called security questions do they not know who they are phoning They just ended up rubbing salt into my wounds

Un professional un thinking thoughtless

Although rep appeared professional caring well prepared that was far from reality Quoted charged wrong price After cremation wrong ashes sent Then less week later customer satisfaction survey phone call which was declined but followed by numerous other calls Eventually asked asked don t you want us to call you again

After having a fully paid Funeral plan

After having a fully paid Funeral plan with Dignity for 12 years during the last few months they have changed our funeral director twice In January we were moved again which is a funeral director 29miles away from where we live We decided to cancel our policy as my widow would find the journey too far They had the audacity to charge us 350 cancellation fee Absolute robbery Do not go near these people
