Communications were a bit poor

UPDATE 2 Dignity Funerals don t really take ownership of issues They did suggest I call back with my update but phones not working not answered Pseudo Support Doubt I will hear from them again SUGGESTION Dignity Funerals give families hour services that would prevent all the chaos between funerals Simple Resolution Already discussing other family members not using Leatherhead Crematorium - unfortunately it is a mess of an organisation UPDATE Hawkins the Funeral Home have been wonderful and taken much of the ownership of the situation below Hence review gone from 2 stars to 3 stars Dignity Funerals have been understanding but state they are not responsible for any of the below which makes situation feel unresolved but as a family we need to move on If there was a clear outcome for future funerals to avoid what happened below then we would have given four stars but there isn t And Dignity Funerals Leatherhead Crematorium asked if I would give them updates but both numbers I call don t get answered PREVIOUS Leatherhead Crematorium - part of Dignity Funerals has become a chaotic mess It s a lot of money to spend for a conveyor belt end of life process And so easy to up-level Currently would not recommend Dignity Funerals only need to review a few services to see how timings don t work Allowing slightly longer service time frames - would bring the dignity back - that s it No need for us to go to Ombudsman for this just require Dignity to take better responsibility and make more modern and humane changes to its service time frames

Thoughtful and caring but the costings wrong at a time when budgeting was essential Also informed me of a matter very late which added to the already heightened stress levels

Hi use them in March and yes 100 I would ve given them They were brilliant but if you read my whole review they cremated my mum without even informing me when she was going to be cremated which is what I asked for when I sat down with them and they agreed that they would do it so quite honestly all These reviews are great but hold no way over what I m talking about and I m not talking about dignity funerals I m talking about the funeral directors I used in Crawley So I suggest before you make a review I ll give it a star rating Read what the other person has written and try to understand what they re saying

Dignity were funeral directors for both of my parents Funerals were 4 years apart What a difference First funeral was excellent second was disappointing Communication was dreadful Body wasn t picked up for 5 hours excuse was were very busy Trying to speak with the actual director s handling the funeral was fraught I was put through to the dignity hub Two important questions asked were never replied to I was contacted 6 days prior to funeral asking me to bring clothes in for the body These had been brought in a week earlier Dignity have basically bought up most of the independent businesses you are just a number Try and find a family run business if possible

My experience of using one of their companies Ashton Brookes in Altrincham has been painful Having paid a deposit last year for memorial stones the grave is still unmarked I wouldn t recommend Dignity if Ashton Brookes are an example of what they offer UPDATE Now sorted but it took the threat of legal action

FW Jones said they would contact me when My Julie was ready to collect that didn t happen I rang this morning 17 Jan 10 15 and asked if julie was ready to collect and that she is in the ern that i ordered and paid for and I was told yes On arriving at FW Jones I was me by a young lady who asked me which ern I ordered and I explained I was then told that the ern has not arrived and would I like the take Julie in the one she was in I refused and said I want her in the one I ordered I asked the assistant how long it would take and she replied she didn t know I believe the ern that I ordered was not ordered because FW Jones forgot to order and tried to palm me of with something I didn t want I was so angry and disappointed that I left What I want is FW Jones is to make ready My Julie in the ern I ordered and paid so I can bring her home and place her in the area I have set for her I am so disappointed angry with the service they have supplied
