DON T BUY FROM THEM
Product was delivered LONG after they said WAY longer lead time than most companies and then they changed extended the ship date again The plants were SMALL - and WAY overpriced for what you get Plants arrived VERY late in season NONE have thrived after planting HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - followed by threatening communication for lack of payment when they had already been paid I paused credit card payment when I had not received merchandise by date promised but released as soon as I got the plants NO email or phone number to respond to provided in letters 3 sent by them so I couldn t let them know to look for payment DON T give this company your money Lots of other options out there that want to do GOOD business

Compost NOT Plants
I ordered last year from this company everything died Late fall on sale I let it slide Gave them a second chance ordered early spring along with a few other excellent companies Early spring like March recieved my half dead order yesterday June 19th the plants that arrived alive weren t plants I ordered nor could I identify them I m not wasting my time calling them Threw everything in the compost heap I ll NEVER order from them again and if you are reading this neither should you Save your money order from a good reputable nursery

I ordered online and then googled and saw their negative reviews a few mins later also heard from a friend who ordered last year and received NO PRODUCT AND NO REFUND so I emailed to immediately cancel my order following their guidelines for canceling an order within 24 hours via email They gave me the runaround saying they would forward my email to appropriate person were closed for one thing or another or they hadn t gotten my original emails I emailed their only listed customer service email address 5 times I also called several times and always got a busy signal These people are tricky and dishonest They charged my card and I now have to dispute the charge

Ordered several plants from them at the end of April In June when they still hadn t arrived I wanted to cancel my order They said it was being processed and was waiting to be shipped When it finally arrived everything looked dead Planted them anyway hoping for the best It is now the beginning of August Nothing has even sprouted Would not recommend ordering from this company Big disappointment

The worst company ever
This is the absolute worst company that I have ever ordered from online I placed an order on 4 26 20 Never heard from them Cancelled the order on 6 9 On 6 11 got an email from them saying I couldn t cancel because the order had been processed Really how coincidental after 6 weeks of silence The order never arrived until 6 21 well past ideal planting season And all the plants were dead Dried up dead They have refused to refund my money Be warned do not under any circumstances do business with directgardening com

TERRIBLE company
TERRIBLE company They send dead plants weeks late the make you do a bunch of ridiculous things for a refund Their customer service by email is ridiculously slow and unhelpful Their phone is always busy because they take it off the hook probably They don t want to deal with their customers they just want to make money by making returns as difficult as possible knowing they send out dead plants I filed a chargeback

No Confirmation Would not cancel order
Placed order they sent no confirmation 6 weeks later charged my CC Contacted twice and told to cancel Did not return emails had to cancel payment on card Attempted to cancel over 6 times They said could not cancel because in shipping told I cancelled payment Then they said would cancel day later sent email order ready to ship Tried to cancel they said couldn t 2 weeks later received a package with 2 bulbs and a pack with 3 dried up plants that were dead Not honest will not respond Worst online attempt at purchase ever

There is simply no way to cancel your
There is simply no way to cancel your order Phones are down emails are slow to respond excuse filled form letters Notify your credit card company to initiate a charge back Took 5 weeks from the time I ordered until my card was charged even merchant services thought that was ridiculous refuse to accept delivery if and or when they try to ship No charge to you for return shipping that way they get to deal with the hassle Nothing but lies and excuses from these people

Poor Service
I ordered several supplies over three months ago or a little less and I have yet to receive my order The phone number is always busy I have ordered in the past and received my order right away I m not sure if it s coronovirus related or poor customer service or fraud My next move is to get in touch with Better Business Bureau to see if the company still exists

I gave Direct Gardening 1 star only because there is no lesser rating This place is a broker not a grower They are disreputable and it can take months to receive even the simplest of orders even when they claim that the product is in stock at the time of your order They have NOTHING that can be called real Customer Support and the products are nothing close to what they show on their website Save yourself some aggravation and a better use of your money and buy local or from an online company like Park Seed or Gurney s You may pay a little more but the product is better and the service is reliable
