Unprofessional

Unprofessional petty-minded and childish moderators and admin who do not do their jobs or take their roles seriously abuse their power and allow others to abuse the power they have More so they seem to think it s funny to do so Want to appoint themselves Judge Jury and Executioner of Discord but shun any responsibility when held to account for it Avoid

Great site to find servers

Great site to find servers Until you get the 429 Too Many Requests error I ve gotten this error so many times using the site the website is pretty much un useable unless the server you want is on the first page If you switch pages and search things this error will block you from accessing the site unless you keep spamming reload until it lets you back in until you click a link and you will get the error again

The people who own this website need to

The people who own this website need to change their moderators ASAP They ban servers without any warning first which doesn t make any sense They re also VERY rude for absolutely no reason Those disboard mods need to calm down bc last thing i know they re just a bunch of GROWN men who are in charge of moderating servers a bunch of teenagers made it s really not that deep LMAO Instead of banning perfectly normal servers they should do smth about all these CP servers ALSO one of the moderators clearly told me that they don t care if a server as CP in it they only care about what is put on Disboard which is once again really weird comming from a GROWN ADULT Anyways until i get unbanned from this stupid website i ll pray on their downfall which will hopefully happen v soon

Somethings off

Disboard banned my server without actually checking on it When I opened a ticket in their server they refused to check and had zero respect for me as a young adult Saying that my opinion Dosent matter as I have less experience than the staff who are 40 years old I dont have anything against older individuals however dosent something seem off when a 40 year old should have a job and most likely have a family or partner What are they doing on a platform which is primarely used by teenagers and younger adults Especially when it comes to moderating in a discord server where they have all the power to do literally anything

Be CAREFUL with using Disboard

Be CAREFUL with using Disboard Recently I have added Disboard to my own server in hope to grow my community like it promised But it left me in total shock that majority of those people who joined are people who are into the NFT-community As I noticed they all came from Disboard-search I kicked the bot out of my server and stopped using it Never ever again Besides I also noticed most trolls came from that Disboard site too not just user s or bots who are into NFT Some of them also spam links to NFT websites or even porn nsfw into your server Please if you re protective over your community servers and if your server is very important to you AVOID using this bot at all cost to avoid getting spammed and flooded with these kind of people Stay safe out there

It sucks and I hate it

I don t know what happened to Disboard but as a server owner that enjoys growing my servers and releasing new servers Disboard has become an annoyance Their bot is down so many times making it impossible to bump the existent servers They are making it impossible for new servers to be launched by having this ridiculous under review thing I have one server that has been under review for a week now and nothing has happened and I have seen people who had their servers under review for a longer period than me It s extremely ridiculous And don t get me started on the Cloudfare thing extremely annoying Clearly they don t care what people want so if there is anyone out there experienced in making websites like Disboard please make one that is better than this bs so we can have a proper site that doesn t just annoys and pisses everyone off

BAD

Honestly it feels like Disboard is a whole ass joke Moderators don t look at reports and don t care for them either It takes FOREVER to get your server reviewed and users are mostly scammers
H

Yikes

Disboard was fine until I was userbanned due to power abuse by the moderators of the Disboard website They shove their fandom politics and God knows what other politics down your throat and if they don t like what they see even if your servers ARENT against their guidelines and ToS they will ban you and your servers abusing their own rules and abusing their users

About Disboard

Disboard: A Comprehensive Public Discord Server Directory

Disboard.org serves as a prominent and widely-used public directory for Discord servers, functioning as a bridge between community seekers and server owners. Its primary mission is to facilitate the discovery of new online communities across a vast array of interests, from gaming and technology to art, music, education, and social hangouts. The platform provides a structured, searchable database where anyone can explore, join, and interact with thousands of Discord servers from around the world.

Core Functionality and Features

At its heart, Disboard operates on a simple yet effective model. Server administrators can list their communities on the site by utilizing Disboard's companion bot. This integration is key to the platform's ecosystem. Once added to a Discord server, the Disboard bot enables owners to publish their server's listing, complete with a description, tags, member count, and language. The site itself offers robust search and filtering tools, allowing users to:

  • Browse servers by categories (e.g., Gaming, Entertainment, Science, Education).
  • Filter searches by specific tags to find niche communities.
  • Sort listings by member count, bump activity, or creation date.
  • View key server details before joining, including rules and a preview of the community vibe.

A distinctive feature of Disboard is the "bump" system. To maintain visibility and activity on the front page listings, server owners must regularly "bump" their server using a bot command. This mechanism encourages active community management and ensures that the directory's most prominent listings are current and engaged, providing fresh opportunities for discovery.

Value for Users and Server Owners

For users seeking new online spaces, Disboard offers a centralized, user-friendly portal. It eliminates the need to scour social media or rely on personal referrals to find active Discord communities. The tagging and categorization system makes it efficient to locate servers that match very specific hobbies or topics.

For server owners and moderators, Disboard is a powerful growth and outreach tool. Listing a server provides significant exposure to a large audience actively looking to join new communities. This can be invaluable for new servers trying to establish a member base or for established communities aiming to reach a broader, like-minded audience. The platform's structure inherently rewards servers that are well-maintained and actively promoted by their administrators.

Community Guidelines and Safety

Disboard maintains guidelines to promote a safe and respectful environment. It prohibits the listing of servers that engage in illegal activities, harassment, hate speech, or other forms of harmful conduct. Users can report servers that violate these terms, and the Disboard team reviews listings to uphold these standards. This governance helps maintain the directory's integrity and trustworthiness for all users.

Conclusion

Disboard.org has established itself as an essential hub within the Discord ecosystem. By effectively connecting community creators with potential members, it fosters the growth of diverse online groups. Its straightforward listing process, combined with powerful discovery tools and a self-regulating bump system, creates a dynamic marketplace for Discord communities.
