Caution - Need to be assembled and painted

They look great on line and I chose as I like the style and was correct door opening size but it was not clear that the doors had to be assembled Need a second fix carpenter 2days to assemble doors with router no pilot holes to assist with the assembly so no room for error when installing very fine margins Then had to get the doors primed and painted oil based paint only It has added considerable cost and I would have gone for a preassembled fitted doors had I known On the positive the doors look great now they are fitted and painted

Doors advertised as solid but they re not arrived in packaging but edges were chipped and scratched Emailed over a query about this but still waiting for a reply also had to buy silver hinges for bi fold doors as arrived with gold ones and no option to choose Delivery did arrive on time and was kept updated however would not use again

Scratched doors

When I spoke to the sales team I would be told that there would be no need to paint the doors upon arrival as they are a finished product just hang them When the doors arrived 2 of them were scratched a notice label was attached to the doors saying that these are only primed and that they may come scratched so repair before top coating So completely misleading from the get go So not happy

No response to 2 emails

No response to 2 emails If courier would have stated they was trying to deliver a package from doors more I would have responded due to the number of scam emails saying I have a delivery and need to contact them I never Sorry about this but perhaps you could possibly mention this to them Thanks Stuart prior

Weak comms and poor Courier Services

The problem with Doors and More lies primarily with their communication and their courier Rhenus Home Delivery D M were slow to reply to email queries in my case it took several days to respond to a simple request Rhenus use an Ai computer system to communicate They do not respond to text WhatsApp messages or email queries They repeatly send out emails requesting you select a date for delivery but on doing so the system repeatedly responds NO DATES AVAILABLE I am still waiting for the hardware for my doors to be delivered despite the goods having been purchased several weeks ago I am happy with the doors but obviously cannot comment on the quality of hardware

Product is great delivery is poo

Product is great delivery company Rhenus were a bunch of cowboys First delivery they used a van with a split roof Everything inside was soaked doors sent back The drivers were happy to tell me all the horror stories of poor management Second delivery the doors were damaged by using a massive ratchet strap with no padding g between the ratchet mechanism and the oak door Honestly it looked like the loaders are doing there best to sink the company by causing as much destruction as possible Two days off work self employed tradesman to get 7 doors next time I will go local and pock them uo myself

Still havent arrived

Request for a review has arrived before the doors themselves so it s difficult to be positive Was advertised as 3-7 day delivery but 15 days in and still not arrived In fairness door re-sellers are often dependent on manufacturer but communication could have been way better and Deanta the manufacturer have been pretty poor Delivery now booked for 18 days after purchased

Damaged delivery

Damaged delivery and cant get hold of them and no response from emails Update increased by q star as this has now been resolved Though having to email and try to call multiple times at different times and dates with no answer is frustrating especially when in the middle of a building project Eventually answered through email 5-7 days after first contact Doors are lovely though and as described albeit slightly damaged by delivery

Door and door frame

I purchased 2 products Door and door frame on the day of delivery only the door was delivered I called the office my first call was answered by after sales and I got hung up on Every other call I ve had no response Sent an email and no response I managed to find an additional aftersales email and Charlotte from the doors and more contacted me to say it was being sorted between them and the delivery company Benefit of the doubt that this is post Christmas and email routing confusion If it s sorted in the coming days then my rating goes up
