Working Well but What a Long Wait

I think you were reasonably efficient but the very long lead time on one size of door was a big disappointment I wouldn t be surprised if it costs you business When lead times are that long I think a lot of people would look for an alternative supplier

Good finish but

One of the architrave lengths was split where it was joined I think they call it a finger joint Fortunately we were able to get around the problem After saying someone had to be in for delivery we arranged it to be so The goods turned up a day early and it is fortunate someone was in

Although the doors were delivered to me

Although the doors were delivered to me on time 3of 4 doors had dents or scuff marks on them and it was too close to Christmas to return or exchange so have had to patch them up also the 4 packs of furniture were in a poor state although all parts were present

48hr inspection of goods not realistic

The doors I ordered are good and were a good price The issue was that they were delivered as part of a project to a site and left in the undamaged packaging until ready to use so they did not get damaged on site When we unpacked them they were damaged but because I did not report this within 48hrs I could receive no replacement refund or discount This was only a week after delivery

I have not received my doors

I have not received my doors I like the speedy dispach from Doors and more I took a days annual leave to accept my doors on the agreed date however the time slot was 7 am till 7pm I received an email from the haulage company at 5pm to say they wouldn t be delivered that day I replied to their email to inform them of my available days to accept delivery I received no response and they attempted delivery two days later when I was at work I still have not received any information regarding when my doors will be delivered

The doors are great - but

The doors are great good quality and well made However my buying experience was let down by a misunderstanding over the delivery The handles and hardware were described as being stocked and so would be delivered together with doors this wasn t the case though and eventually were delivered a week after the doors through a different company and delivery service Very confusing and very frustrating

Long delivery time

I ordered the door through this company as if promised delivery and handles hinges cheaper than local competitors The door took longer to arrive than I wanted and then it had no handles hinges When I rang the company they confirmed that the delivery company had informed them the items were missing So I had to delay the carpenters until the hinge etc arrived 4 days later Overall product was fine but the delay proved more costly Order well in advance and note the delivery terms regarding damage

Initial lack of communication but were responsive once made aware of issue

Hi my builder ordered a door on 12th December nobody is replying to his emails and I have phoned three times today and nobody is picking up the phone Where is my door please I have a 93 year old mother and a bathroom with no door over Christmas is not an option Please can somebody fix this Thank you Update I have been contacted and told they will prioritise my issue and to hang tight I will update the review according to what happens next Door prioritised and delivered next day My builder unhappy with communications but once I had been able to make contact the issue was dealt with swiftly and professionally

Customer Service needs improvement

Despite their website showing the doors we wanted were available x s - we were told they were no longer manufactured after challenging them they then said they were still available We never had any notification of when they would be delivered apart from 45 mins before a nice bloke delivered them
