Mattress topper problems

I bought a double matters topper for my son s bed Unfortunately the item did not arrive until after Christmas and was received in January 2023 Initially he said it was comfortable however 11 months later he found that the topper moves on the bed and ends up overhanging the front of the bed by 3 inches The cover which comes off is not washable and the foam is squashed down where he lays on it I am disappointed as it hasn t lasted at all Won t be replacing it If the cover had corner elastic on it the movement of the topper could be avoided also please make the cover machine washable

Nice but

The mattress topper is nice but I have one big problem with it I share the bed with one large man one medium-sized dog and one small dog The topper has no loops underneath to hook under the main mattress As a result it migrates across the bed away from me This morning the gap was approximately 3inches 7 centimetres between mattress and topper which is not comfortable

The service was great however the

The service was great however the delivery was longer than expected but the mattress was of very good quality After 14 nights we found the mattress to hard and tried to return it only to be told that it was our responsibility but for nearly 40 00 they would arrange collection and it would need to be covered to provide protection This information is on their site but not immediately obvious By the time I ve paid for a courier and packing material I could be out of pocket by 60 so effectively have paid to have a trial You may not be thinking about returning your product at the time but read before you buy

Having been in touch with the Dormeo team I found them courteous and helpful Approx delivery date was stated and sure enough as good as their word I was contacted with date and approx time and have now received my mattress Good customer care - what else is required from a company Keep up the good work

Good mattress slow delivery

The mattress topper itself is just what we needed although as others have noted it does move around a little as it does not have straps to keep it in place but it has definitely added some firmness to the mattress However and others have said the delivery times were quite fictional and once it was dispatched there was no delivery estimated it just turned up at about 9pm a day or so later When I ordered the initial dispatch time was listed as 14-28 days on the 31st of October This was not met an email was sent to advise of a delay until the 4th of December due to demand Fair enough Then this date again was not met with no updates I contacted customer services who were were very pleasant but said the next delivery was now due in the vague mid December I asked if I was definitely to get one of this batch they said they couldn t even guarantee that This was disappointing and there was no compensation to offer The mattress topper eventually arrived on the 18th of December more than 45 days after it was ordered Good product so far but take the delivery times with a pinch of salt

Good topper

So far so good with topper and improving sleep Communication lacked from date of purchase until receipt of item in that there was none Also a shame we didn t receive free pillow as advertised at time of purchase

After looking at different mattresses

After looking at different mattresses we went for the octasmart plus memory foam and order on the 14th December as PRE CHRISTMAS DELIVERY WAS STILL AVAILABLE 3 to 6 days to delivery checking 3 days later goods out of stock till later in the week called back Thursday and out for dispatch Friday 22nd but won t get it till some time after Christmas VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SERVICE SO FAR HOPE ITS WORTH THE WAIT good thing was I asked for compensation And was offered something so just have to wait Mind you staff on the phone not that helpful really and had to ask Updated 28th delivery was 8 to 6pm and promptly delivered at 7 55am so great delivery service mattress vac packed and looks thin but slowly expanding takes from 15min to 6 hrs but after 1st 10 minutes it was firming up

The delivery chap did not knock on the door but just left the package in the porch There was no paperwork enclosed They don t tell you that existing fitted sheets will not cover both mattresses Not something that one necessarily thinks of

Very fast delivery which was excellent

Very fast delivery which was excellent topper is too long for the bed settee so it has been transferred to my bed a bit on the warmer side than I thought but is comfortable to lay on

Mattress great delivery crap

Mattress and topper are great But the delivery company are not As the driver never rang our doorbell and signed for our goods which is technically unlawful and left the mattress and topper at neighbours back door which luckily they informed just after calling Dormeo customer services Not the best of experiences so 3 star
