This is sad to say Dr Martys has the most horrible customer service They take away our access to your account and then add accounts that are not yours when you have never lived an address that they claim you ordered from When you complain to the BBB you get some person you can not even speak with to get a resolution The food is good the headaches not worth it

"beware oh their special offers"
i find the companies special holiday pricing and incentives to be very misleading as they are not clear it feels to me a bait and switch first called before ordering to clarify offer and never got return call received my shipment and called again about the advertised special was initially told would be shipped separate i asked when and was told my order did not qualify requested a return was told i would need to pay shipping in summary have used the product for over a year and this has not been the first time their pricing was not clear why should it be a challenge for a company withhigh ratings for quality have to use deceptive pricing

Dr Marty s rep KAT responded A promise was made that to show that the company cared about the welfare of pets a group would go over my case concerning dangerous pollution of Dr Marty dog food I have still never received a follow up and Dr Marty has not warned its buyers of their being a chance of foreign sharp material being ingested by pets I am astounded by how negligent they have been and uncaring about the possibility of harming peoples pets

"Inspect Dr Marty Carefully for Sharp Plastic Pieces"
Our 2 3 4 pound teacup Yorkshire Terrier age 6 years was changed to Dr Marty because we were impressed by all that we read We soak and hand finger crush the kibbles for our tiny terrier who has had several tooth extractions While doing so it was discovered that small pieces of colored plexiglass existed within the bags of food Had we not been finger crushing the dry food we would have not found it On two shipments of food we have found the dangerous contamination 3 times We notified the Dr Marty company We expected them to be quite alarmed do follow-up investigation and to request the piece That did not happen but after a few calls a refund was granted I submit this review so as to alert others I submit it over a year after having negotiated the refund because now in another bag we have found another piece of the same dangerous contaminant 11 07 23 The company s response was to whitewash the negative review There has been no caring contact nor action taken by non-caring Dr Marty pet foods

Questionable business ethics When our cat died we offered an unopened Dr Marty supplement on eBay Dr Marty reported it falsely as counterfeit and we were cited by eBay A query to customer service confirmed the code as valid

"They send food close to the expiration BEWARE"
They send food close to the expiration date if you order online Must check the BB date yourself The customer service is horrible They had the nerve to tell me the date on the package was the manufacturing date Wow SO the cat food I received was made in the future huh Truly horrible experience Extremely rude too For this price point the whole experience should have been much better

It seems that Dr Marty s opened a second manufacturing plant My dog totally rejects any batches made in that plant She loves the food made in their original facility They need to get control this quality problem Their Customer Service seems to be aware of the problem They need to recall all product made at this second plant

My cat got very sick on Dr Marty s freeze dried food Cost me hundreds in Vet bills My cat developed serious gastrointestinal problems and almost died He had haws as well as a symptoms the third eyelid covered a portion of his eyes

"Food is not shipped"
My dog loves this food over commercial Unfortunately it is very expensive and DOES NOT ARRIVE I am charged for the food but this is the third time that the food does not arrive Customer service takes days to connect All I get are promises that it will arrive Or shipping was not processed right we are working on stock etc I do not accept excuses I m out quite a bit of money with no dog food

"I have purchased the Salmon Squeekis "
I have purchased the Salmon Squeekis Delight several times for my cat This particular purchase was different than the rest I placed a few pieces of the Salmon on the floor and my kitty started to eat them As she was trying to chew one piece she cracked her back tooth I have a photo of the broken tooth and the salmon on the floor Checking the food inside the bag i found that the Salmon pieces were rock hard So hard i could not break it with a knife I tried calling Dr Marty s and it took 45 minutes for someone named Janna to answer They refunded me but didn t give a damn about my cats broken tooth and the rock hard pieces in Lot number 20 LOAA Stay away from this company All they care about is your order
