"The food is great but the communication "
The food is great but the communication not so much The final straw for me was that the food was shipped to the wrong address after I had specifically gone over with the customer service rep of the change of the new address and of the new shipping time In the past I have been charged for an order I did not receive which was rectified problems with orders being delayed and on on I have stuck with this company because I love the food but because it comes in small bags I go through these quickly and end up trying to get the right amount of product shipped in time and it just feels like every time I think things are in order something else happens I have not delt with this with other companies and am just totally frustrated

Building an account has turned to be a difficult challenge Suggestions by team members don t work I have primarily used Nature Blend as a topper to FreshPet My dog is demonstrating more energy on our mile walk He seems to be happier

My little 7 lb morkie loves the food I have been using it as a dry topper to his dry kibble Unfortunately after finishing his first of 3 bags of the food he has gained weight so I think I need to use Dr Marty s food as a am training treat while I m grooming him He s 12 yrs old so I don t want him gaining weight My personal experience with customer service is why I gave the 3-star rating I asked a question about the VIP program 3 times and still didn t get a straight answer The food is great and my dog loves it but it s just too pricey for me to use as his only food on a daily basis

The individual pellets were not uniform in color - some looked white as if mold had covered the food The other bags opened before this particular bag were all tan in color

My problem was shortly after starting my standard was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and is currently on a strict prescription diet Before that I considered ordering at least a bag of Natures Blend I need to hear the results of the panel taken yesterday

I have been trying to get someone at the company to cancel my subscription I can t call during their business hours I have sent 2 messages over the past week and have still to get an answer My dog has decided she doesn t like this food anymore I would also like to get a refund for the 6 bags I have purchased recently Someone please contact me

"Personally concerned and involved professional "
I have a 15 going on 16 rat terrier with missing teeth He will eat Dr Marty s Nature s Blend as a topper I called the Customer service the other day to ask if there is any information from a Vet associated with the company about whether the food if served daily can be too rich for older dogs systems The cust svc rep said she had no information available on that topic so I asked if there were someone else associated with the company that I could speak with at some time She informed me that Dr Marty is the only person associated with the company that has any type of certification - either vet tech or other veterinary training I have to say that disclosure not only took me aback but has made me rethink whether I want to continue funding this company It just made me think of a hands-off convenient for -making passive income purposes I don t think that my is that specific or narrowly targeted and why wouldn t they have at least one knowledgeable individual who can answer look into issues available for consumers who pay a considerable amount for the product It just makes me feel a bit hinky about the persona Dr Marty projects to pet owners vs reality

"Dogs love the food but it s outrageously expensive and a rough customer service experience is imminent"
I believe the food has its merits but I have to say that it s far too expensive Great concept dogs love it but if I fed the dogs the way it s prescribed then it would cost me over 1000 per month to feed my two golden retrievers Customer service is rough They say they ll get back to you within 24-72 hours yikes They send an automated message back saying you can use other support mediums like a chat bot but they don t have one that appears on their website so um maybe you should get one up and running The food is something the dogs do like but I have to just use it as a topper for them because it s too expensive and we can t afford to feed them just this food because it would literally cost over 1000 per month So I m not really sure it s worth it if we still have to mix in other foods with this which incurs an additional expense Shipping can be rough there are some hiccups there for sure Service is paramount when you re charging exorbitant fees like they do so they definitely need to work on that in order to become a sustainable business All in all if you have a small dog that doesn t eat much then this may be a solid solution If you have more than 1 dog and or large dog s then you may want to keep looking if you haven t established a huge monthly budget to purchase this product

Really the only thing I don t like is that it is not feasible to feed my two large dogs this product as their main food I would go through 3 4 of a bag a day and that is unsustainable at the price I have a 72 lb dog and a 65 lb dog that eat in total 7 cups of food a day I ve thought about using it as a topper the dogs did like it and ate it all but again 25 for a small bag is steep
