The first installer refused to do the job as there were some things in the garage in the way people working on the house offered to shift them but he just drove off forcing us to pay an additional 200 for a failed install The people working at the house took about 5 minutes to move things but the installer refused to come back No attempt was made to contact me through this except to tell me I d be charged the extra 200 We d cancelled a concrete pour on-site to accommodate them The second installer did the job but didn t put enough sealant around the door so we had to call them back to redo it This meant I had to take 2 times off work to be there Door itself is fine now In reply to their reply It is an active building site It took 5 mins to clear after the installer arrived but your guy came early and ran away as quick as he could as soon as they saw an issue not waiting made no attempt to contact me and lied about people being unwilling to move things All of this you know as I ve messaged about it We ve now discovered damaged electrical wiring in the garage where no one but your people were working

The initial impression of Southern doors Ltd part of the Eastern Group was good and installation went well The metal garage doors were installed on the 4th March at approx cost of 2 5k They initially looked great but within 8 weeks they started to rust initially Southern doors were helpful and spoke to the manufacturer I was then informed that because we lived near the coast it was to be expected and was down to oxidisation I should clean the doors The doors have been cleaned regularly but sadly the rust is bubbling thru they have now been installed for 9 weeks and Southern doors are not going to do anything I will be seeking legal direction I will avoid this company in future I would just like to report that Southern doors have now replaced my doors They have also taken steps to ensure that the same mistakes are not made in the future Julie at Southern has been really helpful

Do not hire this company We had a new electric garage door installed by Eastern garage doors which we ve had nothing but issues with the company insist on charging us to rectify The frame is scuffed all the way down from installationThe fobs supplied are awful quality and 2 out of 3 have already stopped workingThe top face plate of the door is so flimsy that it bangs rattles in the slightest wind 400 to rectify The manual override was forgotten then completely bodged has now snapped off after using twice 600 vat to rectify Our next door neighbour also have issues with their door

Poor service They fitted the garage door wrong and locks now working properly i chased them for months to come back to sort out still no chance Never recommended to anyone
