AVIOD Drivers Fraudulently sign off cars

AVIOD this company I had a collection due from Eco-motive on Friday which was confirmed by their driver which wasn t delivered until the following Monday When the car arrived it was shaking with numerous warning lights on the dashboard I told the driver I m not signing the vehicle off due to these factors to which he replied he totally understand Whilst I m on the phone trying to fix this solution the driver fraudulently signed off the vehicle in my name and decided to just walk off Spoke to the operations manager who is the operations manager who initially quite understanding and said he will look into this straight away but then moment later came back with sorry we cant do anything when asked about my real concern which was a driver singing off a vehicle in my name because I refused martin simply said yes that shouldn t of happened and they will deal with in in house To top all this off I had another delivery booked that day when the driver called me I asked him to have a good look at the vehicle to make sure this doesn t happen again to which this particular driver informed me of some faults on the vehicle which I asked him to not bother with delivery due to the previous problems with ecomotive I then spoke to the operations manager again to let him know this to which Ecomotive are now trying to charge me the delivery fee because they have charges in there terms Not at any point have ecomotive sent me told me anything regarding these terms as they wasn t booked through me directly they were booked through carwow How is a customer to know about charges when they are not told or sent at any point AVIODUpdate - In response to the comment below which you state your driver didn t fraudulently sign off the vehicle he was singing it off as himself In the delivery note that went sent myself it clearly shows one signature from the driver next to his name and then another completely different signature next to me name which your driver signed without my permission Your operations manager apologised multiple times on the phone when he found out about this and completely agreed with me when I said that this wasn t on His only response was that the driver should not have done this and he will deal with it in house There is also a email conversion between yourself me carwow in which carwow asked ecomotive to compensate me due to your driver fraudulently signing off the car in my name I believe the driver had no option but to sign off the vehicle and leave it as the dealer had paid for it the vehicle was not our property - this was the email you sent to carwow when I raised the issue with them So please do not lie in your response

Ecomotive driver reported non existent faults

Ecomotive were hired by Motorway to collect my Toyota Aygo on 23 Nov and deliver to the winning bidder a garage in Norwich The driver walked around the car for 20 minutes Then he sat in the car and restarted it numerous times He reported a multitude of faults and walked off without driving the car even an inch He would not engage when my husband tried to explain that the EML comes on whenever the engine is started but goes off as soon as you move the car That is normal for the Toyota Aygo The sale fell through as a result I took the car to my local Toyota dealership who ve serviced the car annually from new They did a diagnostics check and visual checks and couldn t find a single fault Daud the Ecomotive driver found a multitude of faults in 20mins sat stationary in the car which the Toyota engineers were unable to find in 2 hrs in the workshop and a 15 min test drive The Ecomotive driver clearly didn t know that it s normal for the EML light to come on and that he had to move the car for it to go off He allegedly didn t test drive the car as he deemed it too dangerous I wonder if he even has a driving license I complained to Ecomotive and included the diagnostic report from Toyota but they defended their maverick driver They replied that their driver had done as asked by Motorway Motorway did not ask the driver to report non existent faults and lose them a sale They asked him to test the car and check for any faults NOT to make them up Anyway Ecomotive stand by their driver despite the evidence against him so I guess this is standard practice Maybe people should take their cars for servicing at Ecomotive as their drivers are more qualified than the engineers at main car dealerships If Ecomotive bother to comment on this review don t lie that you can t find any record of me I emailed you this morning and you responded in a very dismissive email disregarding the facts presented to you I ve been emailed the detailed report by Ecomotive and it was signed in the customer section to say we were shown the report We were never shown the report on the day and the signature in that box is not mine nor my husband s We are going to report this to the police

Very un professional

Very un professional I personally think the owner of the business needs to train there staff with customer service and how to deal with customers If the staff is very rude and can hang up the call on customer think how would b the manager or the business owner I was told my car collection was for 3rd of July 2023 between 2-4 I rang the company to ask for the driver s contact details Rang the driver was sleeping and had day off rang the company back and the ladie I spoke to was Abbie very rude and did not want to accept the company mistake said they will send another driver Asked her so how long will it take as I cannot be waiting for the whole day She refused to give the the other drivers number then hang the call on me I rang back she said now they will not collect the car on 3rd July I can t be taking time off They did not want to accept there mistake basically there was no collection booked I asked to speak to the manager They said he is not available I asked what is his name she said they not allowed to give out names lol on there website there are pictures of directors and managers with names I guess this is how the directors of the company have trained there staff shame I sold the car through motorway very polite and helpful staff explained the whole situation and they were apologising behalf of ecomotive learn customer service maybe from motorway The party who bought my car toyota in Leicester told them if they still interested in purchasing my car then use another company apart from ecomotive I hope the directors manager looks into this matter and train the staff Very rude unprofessional and disorganised company Would not recommend this company to any family or friends

Ecomotive is by far the worst

Ecomotive is by far the worst company I have dealt with offering very very poor customer service I had sold my car through motorway Ecomotive was the logistics company doing the pick up The first message from Ecomotive said the pick up would be on 9th November between 10 am and 1 noon I was told that the driver would call me on the morning of the 9th this call didn t happen When the pickup didn t happen till about 12 30 I called Ecomotive when I was told that the driver was caught up because of bad weather that the pickup would happen between and 2 pm Since I was going to be working the afternoon from 2pm onwards and I was the owner keeper of the car I told them that 2pm wouldn t work for them They then re-arranged for Monday 13th November between 10 11 am Come Monday I don t get a call from the driver Having waited till 11 30 am I called Ecomotive when after a prolonged wait on the line I m told the driver couldn t make it for various reasons and would now come between 2-3 pm Again having waited till 3 30 pm I called Ecomotive when I was once again informed that collection couldn t happen for various reasons On every single occasion I HAD TO CALLED ECOMOTIVE TO CHECK COLLECTION STATUS My car was finally collection after repeated follow up from me on Tuesday The reason I sold my car was that I am now based abroad on work for extended periods of time with my car practically not being used Based on the dates provided by Ecomotive I came back to the UK losing my day rate of 400 a day for my project management services Additonally I had to rebook my tickets out of the UK twice over I have emailed Ecomotive explaining my situation and all I have had is a call from Julian Evans offering me an unqualified apology My suggestion all out there- Stay away from Ecomotive Their customer service is abysmally poor

Hired Ecomotive Logistics to move my recently sold car to customer simple move less than 100 miles Initial driver didn t turn up to move the car the replacement driver also didn t arrive to move the car Very poor communication from the company Had to use another logistics company very disappointed

Complete Incompetence

Sold my car via Motorway and Ecomotive were the logistics company hired to collect it and deliver to the buyer I arranged to have the day off of work so I could be there for the selected date of collection I got a text message from the driver the night before at 11 30pm Asking what time I ll be available on the day to which I responded between 9am and 2pm He then called me at 7 30am on the day of collection asking if I ll be available a bit later and if I could pick him up from a train station I said this wouldn t be a problem At 1 45pm I got a call frpm the driver saying he was running late and wouldn t be with me until 4pm I said not a problem At 3 45pm I got another call to say he would not be coming as he had been held up and that I would get a call from their office I got the call which basically said nobody would be collecting my vehicle on the day as the arranged driver had been delayed on other collections and nobody was in the area I explianed to them that I needed the collection to happen as I was picking up my new car the next day and needed the sale to complete I was told there was nothing they can do apart from book another day Monday to Friday with Motorway I am not prepared to loose out on anothers day pay from work for this to potentially happen again If you only operate Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm then you need to realise the majority of people will be taking a day off of work to be available for the collection I was prepared to be flexible with times for the driver waited in all day and even said I ll pick him up from a train station then get let down The purchase of my new vehicle has now fallen through because of Ecomotives complete incompetence I highly suggest Motorway find a new logistics company

Warning Ecomotive Will Damage Your Car and Deny ResponsibilityI am deeply concerned if this is the level of standard Ecomotive is setting for the industry I had a highly disappointing experience with Ecomotive the logistics company hired to collect my car after I sold it through carwow Here s a detailed account of what happened and why I strongly advise against using Ecomotive When Ecomotive s representative arrived they behaved unprofessionally from the start asking me for a lift to their next job They sent me a text the evening before asking if I would pick them up from their first job and ultimately then continued to ask if I would pick them up after they dropped off the car they came in repeatedly requesting this upon arriving Worse they took my car on an unauthorised test drive without my permission or my presence and without giving me the option to join them During this test drive they crashed and damaged my car Instead of informing me they quickly left after I declined a revised offer from the seller due to a missing parcel shelf which is unrelated to this issue without me noticing the damage immediately Despite having proof including CCTV footage showing the test drive happened when I was not present photographs of the car in the morning before the test drive happened showing no damage photos of the car after the test drive showing the new damage and text messages that confirm the unprofessional behavior of their representative Ecomotive has refused to accept responsibility They are taking their employee s word that there was no damage to the vehicle and that the test drive occurred while I was in sight I find it worrying that Ecomotive are taking their representative s word especially when their employee s actions clearly do not align with the company s stated values of customer satisfaction and professionalism Ecomotive s unwillingness to acknowledge their mistake and hold their employees accountable is deeply disappointing This behavior is a stark contrast to the high level of customer satisfaction they claim to uphold on their website If you value your vehicle and want a reliable professional service I strongly recommend avoiding Ecomotive I suggest if you are selling your car through Carwow or Motorway then you should ask them to use a different logistics company to reduce your risk Their lack of accountability and poor handling of the situation have caused significant stress and financial loss

Decent Company

Overall a good experience dealing with this company Only reason this is not 5 stars is the length of time it took from booking to collection over a week however I appreciate things are really busy at the moment Special mention for their driver H really nice guy great communicator and flexible in his approach he worked with me to overcome an unforeseen challenge with my particular collection and we achieved the desired result He is a credit to the Company
