Far too small for an adult

This stool looks really lovely on the website but on arrival is actually very very small It s child sized and looks ridiculous with an adult sitting on it and I m only 5 foot It s too low for me to use under my normal sized dressing table The seat itself is fine it s the legs that are much too short I m going to have to send it back The quality is also poor and looks cheap and the backrest feels quite flimsy so I wouldn t want to lean back on it Not an impressive product On the positives the delivery was very fast - it arrived within a couple of days or ordering

I should search more before I ordered

I bought a lovely baby gym from little Ella James via notonthehighstreet com on 30th January The delivery itself was very quick However when I received the order the box was smashed Inside was fine It seemed it was the last one and it had been there for ages The reason why I gave a star is I just found exactly same baby gym from Scandiborn co uk which is 50 cheaper I understand each shop sells different prices but I was shocked especially the baby gym seemed it was the last one And they don t have in on their website from notonthehighstreet com After I ordered It is very shame as they have very nice collections However they seem overcharged shop it could be nice if the item was last one and told me the box was not good condition and I could decide what I wanted to do I learned I should search before I buy something for next time This 50 diffence was a good lesson I don t recommend to order from here if anyone buy something for presents

At best disorganised at worst unreliable and untrustworthy

Having admired the items this seller offers for sale for some time I was excited about my recent purchase Disappointingly I received the wrong item which was badly packaged and damaged in any case I thought it would be a simple case of informing them and getting a replacement as is the case with most shops these days especially those that trade exclusively online I had to set aside an entire day to await collection of the wrong damaged item and when a refund was not forthcoming I had to raise a case with PayPal They then said they couldn t refund me because I d raised a case with PayPal which was of course nonsense Communication from this seller was generally inexplicably slow and in my case completely unapologetic At best this seller is disorganised at worst unreliable and untrustworthy I wouldn t buy from them again

No fixings for double seat

Ordered a Macrame double swing seat No fixings included when received so checked site and to be fair not included however returned to site to purchase fixings and none available - seems an obvious error as the seat can t be used without fixings So now have to find elsewhere - not great1

TERRIBLE service

TERRIBLE service After 21 days and despite repeated promises of delivery the product was not sent There was no record of it on TNT s system no reponse from Ella James to my calls no refund I have had to open a Paypal case to get my money back

there is no way to apply a coupon code

there is no way to apply a coupon code if you are ordering from he US i thought it was because i was ordering off my phone but it still gave me no option to apply a discount code when i used my laptop

Not good at all

Unknowingly ordered a metal firepit through them via Notonthehighsteet as a Christmas present to my husband When he opened the box on Christmas Day the item had huge cracks in it It has taken me 2 weeks and numerous e-mails to get a refund Ella James customer service is non-existent They even claimed not to have received the item back when they were the ones who had arranged the return via UPS and had the tracking code telling them who it had been delivered to Stay clear

Poor quality furniture

Terrible customer service bought an expensive table which broke within six months of purchase and was told they only provide a guarantee for 30 days To be avoided if you are looking for quality furniture very disappointing

Faulty products and appealing customer service

I highly disagree with any comments on here saying their products are quality and that their customer service is great as I have received the complete opposite They must have had friends family post fake reviews as i ve just read their reviews on their Facebook page and they re all 1 star and say that the products are terrible as is their customer service I received a product which was damaged on arrival I asked for a replacement refund and posted the item back They re claiming it was further damaged on arrival so they won t refund me Which is absolutely ridiculous as it was damaged when I received it in the first place Will not be using this company again Since ordering with them and looking for a replacement I have found their products selling for half the price on other websites so would highly recommend looking elsewhere and never using this company
