Snooty and unhelpful staff like L occitane or The white Company Neither of them would go extra mile to perhaps find out or order out of stock item for me which is really frustrating and disappointing for someone who just finished their shift and just wanted to get on with their baby shower shopping

Very difficult experience
Very difficult experience Broken and missing items and refusing to speak to me I placed an order for 4 expensive hand made glass tumblers as Ely s had these on offer Approximately 5 days later I received the package It was a box within a box but only protected by tissue paper When I opened the glass tumblers I saw one was smashed to pieces however there were only 3 I assume at some point they were used for display and it was never put back I contacted Ely s via email as I could not find a phone number I attached images etc and explained the situation I received an auto-reply which also had a phone number This is when the fun starts on the Tuesday I called the number and selected the option for reception the phone was answered and after speaking to an associate I was offered 4 new glasses I stated this was not required as 2 of the 4 were fine She then stated she could have 2 sent out today and I would be kept up to date with this via email I agreed and was very pleased However I then received a reply via email saying they would send 4 new ones But I needed to return the smashed glass and the missing one I have no idea how this would be done I replied to explain that 2 had already been sent but received no reply Over the week no glasses have arrived and I have attempted to call the reception over a space of 3 days at least 12 times Each time no one answering despite it being in the middle of the day I have replied three times to the email that I was sent and no one has replied also I called again today for at least the 13th time and selected the option for the buying team Someone answered I explained this and the staff member was very apologetic She states she is unaware why this is happening and stated she felt it was not good enough She kindly gave me the extension for the switchboard and the e-commerce team and then transferred my call to the switch board Surprise surprise The switchboard rang and rang until an automated message stated they were too buys and the call was disconnected So I called the e-commerce teams extension It went straight to a voicemail I called the buying team back again and the helpful staff member took all my details and then stated she would walk upstairs to the relevant team and hand them the note that she had made She assured they would call me within the next 15 minutes That was 27 minutes ago and no call I called the buying team again who stated she would pass my details onto the operations manager to call me But again no contact still It has now been 4 days since I received and reported the missing and damaged item and for whatever reason they refuse to contact me and refuse to send a replacement Horrendous customer service I have now the only option of contacting trading standards and the ombudsman as Ely s won t provide a replacement to the missing item or the damaged one Disgusting customer service

Negative lazy unfriendly staff in womenswear
Negative hostile attitude by many of the till staff in the womenswear floor I visited Elys for the first time since the pandemic and while I wasn t expecting hugs kisses - I was shocked at the indifferent and downright hostile attitude of one of the older female staff I politely asked her where the changing rooms were and she huffed loudly gesturing towards their direction before walking off in a stomp It was clear that I was intruding on her time and I felt very unwelcome You would think that after two years of consumers shopping online staff working in department stores would be embracing their jobs and treating customers who do visit in person with respect and friendliness I found the experience so off-putting that the thought of returning to Elys is now a negative one

I ordered side tables two weeks ago and
I ordered side tables two weeks ago and haven t received any correspondence I ve emailed and called multiple times and no one has answered or replied I will be going to the bank and taking action to retrieve my money because judging by other negative reviews it won t be worth waiting

No Parcel No Refund Poor Customer Service
I placed an order at the beginning of April which their courier ParcelForce misdelivered and have now lost the parcel I notified their customer service team of this at the time and my last three emails to them have now been ignored I am currently 70 out of pocket

Cancelled my order with no reason provided I needed the item for my wife s birthday could have bought this item from other retailers on Black Friday - now I m without a present and missed out on a deal elsewhere Do not recommend this company at all

Probably a money laundering operation
I would stay away from this seller I should have checked out their reviews before probably a money laundering out fit taking orders cancelling because not in stock and hey presto money cleaned and disappointed customer

Poor Customer Service Refund with No Explanation
I recently purchased a Herschel Supply Co Supply Tech Daypack from ELYS Wimbledon as it was displayed as available on their website I paid for delivery and received an order confirmation However just 12 hours later I received an email stating my order had been refunded with zero explanation No reason was provided for the cancellation and the email was brief not even offering a simple thank you for the attempted purchase This lack of communication and transparency is disappointing especially after I was able to proceed with payment for a product that was clearly not in stock I found the website enticing but this experience has left me frustrated and hesitant to shop with ELYS again Be cautious when purchasing from their site as it appears they may list items that aren t actually available

Horrible Experience
I went into elys today with a few of my friends however as soon as we entered we were told to leave This was because apparently people who wear school uniform can t be trusted within a shop I believe this was highly discriminative and disrespectful towards the younger community and ultimately a severe economic and social loss for elys that will impact their future as a company
