Second order - again perfect I mentioned in my first review where I had ordered a 48 piece bone china dinner service which came in 12 boxes 12 chances to be dropped damaged incomplete otherwise go wrong that everything arrived within 2 working days and perfect so I would order some more to complete the dinner service Ordered 12 x pasta bowls and 12 x mugs matching the bone china dinner service 6 more parcels arrived today within two working days again 100 undamaged and perfect My only gripe is that I received a 10 voucher code for signing up to the website which did not work on any of the orders inlcuding the first order of 300 Having spent about 450 it would have been nice to receive the promised 10 off but equally a 12 place settings bone china dinner service from any of the usual brands including M S John Lewis Debenhams would have cost between 700- 900 so I m not really complaining

Before ordering from Westelm I read the below and almost didn t make a purchase given how critical the reviews were I really liked the furniture I think we can all agree on that so decided to go ahead Bed side table arrived within two days and the chest of drawers arrived after 3weeks These were both quicker than the estimates on website at the time of order I think estimate was 6-10 weeks Delivery team were nice and brought furniture to destination The 120 delivery charge is significant but the furniture isnt light I have had real issues with online furniture retailers in the recent past Made hell but this was very good Would recommend for sure PS happy to provide receipt in case anyone thinks this has been written by Joe in customer complaints dept at Westelm HQ I dont normally write reviews I just felt my experience was so different to what others have written about it was only fair to report my experience as it was

No issues whatsoever and quick delivery

I placed 2 orders with Westelm over 2 consecutive days for some cushions and curtains As I have shopped with their sister site Potterybarnkids and loved their products I assumed Westelm was of a similiar high standard - I was then horrified to find these almost unanimously terrible Trustpilot reviews I was quite worried imagining my order would be wrong damaged or never even show up but I was pleasantly surprised Both orders arrived 4 days after being ordered via UPS which I was really pleased with and the quality of the products are gorgeous I am really pleased with them and they are of such high quality Nevertheless based on all of these reviews I would never order any large items such as furniture and feel I got a bit lucky That being said I would order small items again I can t fault my experience at all and think its only fair to give them the positive review they deserve in this case

Home Design Amazing Furniture

My partner and I recently contacted West Elm s home design team as we needed help decorating our dining living room space in our new flat We were amazed at how quickly they came up with two beautiful proposals for us helped us make some final colour scheme and design choices before ordering all the furniture for us All items were stocked and we were glad that West Elm work with delivery partners that were able to hold these items for us for about a month before our completion date We love our new furniture dining table and chairs sofa coffee table and floor lamp as everything feels very comfortable solid and very high quality We definitely feel like West Elm helped us achieve our home decor goals and the furniture will be very loved for years to come We ve now also placed a smaller order for a few decorative pieces and can t wait to furnish our home with more items from West Elm

I normally do not write reviews but with all the negative one s I thought that it s my responsibility to share my experience Early July we went in Tottenham store the assistant was great we went through all the beds and we decided to buy 2 of them One was on offer the second not so the assistant applied an additional discount which was great Due to availability we agreed to receive them in two orders We received emails phone calls text with updates on the delivery date Products arrived and delivered exactly as agreed Quality of the products great really good wood and not that cheap that others sell Yes I do recommend them but seems that you have too many unhappy customers you have urgently to do something about it Not sure if we were just lucky but we are absolutely satisfied

I ordered a lot of furniture from West Elm s website I d usually have used John Lewis but they didn t have all of the pieces in stock that I was looking for I placed the order then came on here and felt sick reading all the bad reviews I was sure that something wouldn t turn up or there would be bits missing etc I am very happy to say that the delivery process went very smoothly The delivery men were very friendly and helpful and respectful of safe social distancing My husband put the furniture together and reports that it was easy to do All the pieces look amazing and we are pleased with it If you re in the UK it might be best to order via John Lewis if you are worried about potentially bad customer service Thanks so much West Elm you can get it right sometimes it seems I m so glad
