So glad we found this food

We discovered this food after a Swedish breeder recommended it to us We were looking for a high quality natural product and Essentials fitted that bill Our dogs have never looked better coat condition and texture is at a premium Physical joint and bone health also appears to be wonderful Older dogs who have been on joint supplements and oils for years havent needed them Also we have found Essentials creates the perfect stool my vet was very impressed lovely and firm and good colour too We have also reared a few litters of puppies on Essentials switching from the well know brand which we have used for years We find essentials wonderful for the puppies and our owners like it and continue to feed it purchasing from your Amazon store as they like the prime option

Seriously disappointed with poor customer service

Seriously disappointed with the level of customer service received from this company - used their website contact form to try to obtain answers to a couple of queries I had but no response Submitted a 2nd contact form querying lack of contact - again no response Used their webchat facility on a further occasion but Adam explained it was a weekend bo staff available to help me Promised my query would be followed up the next day - it was not Your loss Essential Foods

Update Since their recent advertising campaign the price has increased and the quality has decreased awful smell from different bags despite a replacement I have changed to another brand which is excellent and packed full of nutrition Sadly I can no longer recommend I adopted a pedigree German Shepherd 5 months ago who had been fed cheap supermarket filler food for most of his life I immediately sought to change his diet and did what most people do - choose a premium price mass market breed specific product He was doing great on the new kibble and I had no reason to change until I began researching online Having poured over articles and forums I realised I had inadvertently fallen victim to clever advertising techniques and was not in fact feeding him the highest quality food Fortunately there exists a site which provides comparative analysis of dog nutrition and I proceeded to spend hour upon hour searching for a dry food which was rated 5 0 out of 5 0 within a respectable price range where all it s variants were made from fresh ingredients of which a tiny proportion is dried and has no by-products Essentials is the only brand that meets these standards out of 100 options Over the past 3 weeks I have slowly transferred him to the Superior Living variant and the positive change in him is astonishing and his coat feels like pure silk I am going to try the Nautical variant and Estate variants in due course and will have complete peace of mind knowing that he is being fed the best kibble available in Europe Thankyou to Christian and his team

Price went up too much

I decided to try this brand after being recommended by a friend The food is very good quality and my kitten loves it I was planning to stick with it however only a week later the price was changed to a level I can t afford it any more I spent 24 normal price for 3kg and a week later I saw it advertised for 28 You lost one customer

The packaging lets this down

My dogs like the food okay and I m happy with the ingredients and choice of flavours Long term I will likely change food again as I don t like the large bags and my dogs hate the small kibble in the 3kg bags Negative points for me are the packaging as its not resealable made of plastic and that the normal size kibble is not available in smaller bags

I am beyond pleased with the customer service of Essential Foods and the knowledge the support agents provide to the customers I had a situation where I was thinking there is no a big issue of ordering the wrong food begginer small breed and begginer big breed however the support agents took the immediate action to prevent my puppy getting the wrong food I was very wrongly upset about it however they immediately took the action to explain me why they had to cancel my order and provided me with really deep explanation of the importance behind the nutrition of their different types of food Extremely impressed by the customer service the food is top notch the treats are more than delight for my puppy Really happy I found this brand really satisfied by the quality of their products Highly recommend to switch to essential foods it worth every penny you spend with this company

Only a week in but going very well Chose this on basis of type and quality of ingredients and reviews describing positive results from other customers Then discovered how the company is run which makes things even better And in terms of the food - my working cocker will eat literally anything she s not supposed to but is incredibly fussy about and sensitive to any real food She ate this immediately Is enjoying every meal And has had no adverse reaction Very pleased to date and have just ordered some treats as well

Best food available

Absolutely fabulous food and I would never feed my working cocker on anything else He loves the stuff and despite having had issues with upset stomachs on various other foods he has never had a single issue since switching to this stuff His energy levels are incredible and his coat is beautiful and shiny and not a hint of bad breath either Wish I had tried it sooner
