We discovered this food after a Swedish breeder recommended it to us We were looking for a high quality natural product and Essentials fitted that bill Our dogs have never looked better coat condition and texture is at a premium Physical joint and bone health also appears to be wonderful Older dogs who have been on joint supplements and oils for years havent needed them Also we have found Essentials creates the perfect stool my vet was very impressed lovely and firm and good colour too We have also reared a few litters of puppies on Essentials switching from the well know brand which we have used for years We find essentials wonderful for the puppies and our owners like it and continue to feed it purchasing from your Amazon store as they like the prime option

most of our dog s recovered very fast and good whit your food and thank you for everything

Seriously disappointed with the level of customer service received from this company - used their website contact form to try to obtain answers to a couple of queries I had but no response Submitted a 2nd contact form querying lack of contact - again no response Used their webchat facility on a further occasion but Adam explained it was a weekend bo staff available to help me Promised my query would be followed up the next day - it was not Your loss Essential Foods

Update Since their recent advertising campaign the price has increased and the quality has decreased awful smell from different bags despite a replacement I have changed to another brand which is excellent and packed full of nutrition Sadly I can no longer recommend I adopted a pedigree German Shepherd 5 months ago who had been fed cheap supermarket filler food for most of his life I immediately sought to change his diet and did what most people do - choose a premium price mass market breed specific product He was doing great on the new kibble and I had no reason to change until I began researching online Having poured over articles and forums I realised I had inadvertently fallen victim to clever advertising techniques and was not in fact feeding him the highest quality food Fortunately there exists a site which provides comparative analysis of dog nutrition and I proceeded to spend hour upon hour searching for a dry food which was rated 5 0 out of 5 0 within a respectable price range where all it s variants were made from fresh ingredients of which a tiny proportion is dried and has no by-products Essentials is the only brand that meets these standards out of 100 options Over the past 3 weeks I have slowly transferred him to the Superior Living variant and the positive change in him is astonishing and his coat feels like pure silk I am going to try the Nautical variant and Estate variants in due course and will have complete peace of mind knowing that he is being fed the best kibble available in Europe Thankyou to Christian and his team

My dogs like the food okay and I m happy with the ingredients and choice of flavours Long term I will likely change food again as I don t like the large bags and my dogs hate the small kibble in the 3kg bags Negative points for me are the packaging as its not resealable made of plastic and that the normal size kibble is not available in smaller bags

I decided to try this brand after being recommended by a friend The food is very good quality and my kitten loves it I was planning to stick with it however only a week later the price was changed to a level I can t afford it any more I spent 24 normal price for 3kg and a week later I saw it advertised for 28 You lost one customer

I am just as happy as my dog The change is significant and my old shar pei is living it s second spring

Young Labrador girl dull brown coat and drove us mad with itching vet checked was going to start running testsWe discussed food I had tried a few main names that scored high in Allaboutdog food even tried raw which really didn t suit her I even cooked food for her gave up Then found your food from virtually 1st week she s totally different dog happy deep black with diamond shine to her coat no itching and hair appetite is more even doesn t now snack on anything she finds BOG works VERY VERY happy owner people vets are visibly shocked how good she looks Oh and she s now come into season we were also getting concerned that wasn t going to happen thank you

I really cannot praise Essential Foods enough They are a small company but truly do care about what they do the products they offer and the service they provide I found them via an independent dog food review website which rated them highly and while not cheap are cheaper than other brands not as well rated They only use quality ingredients not cheap bulk fillers that other companies use so you know your pet is getting nature good quality food and they can trace each bag s main ingredients back to source which is not something many companies can say I started using the beginning large breed food for my labrador pup which he did really well on to start with but recently has been having some stool issues at nearly 9 months so rang them up and had a chat though options and they recommended a different type which is an adult food but I d also spoken with my vet who said he is old enough to be switched over I mentioned I d just opened a bag of the beginnings food so they have sent me a large bag of the new food at no cost to see how he goes on that and asked I donate the other bag to a local shelter - again this is not something many companies would do but they said they do that with any returned product which speaks volumes about how much they care about not only their customers but also pets in general
