I spend hours and hours of my life on the phone with this company just trying to sort out medications for me and my daughter Every month or so there is a problem and we have gaps in our medication I am only grateful that we are not taking some life-saving medications or we might not be here right now To be fair the representatives are usually nice and it s not their fault To a certain extent it might not even be completely the company s fault Whoever thought it was a good idea to force people to go from their local pharmacies I have 4 within a 3-minute s walk to some far away huge mail order company with all of the beaurocratic problems and delays with the mail It s profits before people once again The consumer always comes last

American medicine outsourced
Let me tell you about this outsourced place Utterly and absolutely the worst I submitted all the documents they needed to verify my dependents The same documents that I have been using for the last 14 years and now they can t take my marriage license My wife who has stage 4 breast cancer cannot get her medications now because someone says that s not good enough Over 14 years of using the same documents My last two employers took it and now it s not good enough Another reason why outsourcing is terrible This may cause me to become very litigious if her health falter s because of their negligence They re talking about appeals processes which no one has time to wait on November 9th 2023 is when the proper docs were submitted I hope that they read this and know that this is a big problem and must be dealt with now I m just wondering who else is out there having the same problem

They make a difficult situation worse with extremely bad inconsistent communication 1 I cancelled a prescription by mistake Fri I realized immediately it was a mistake called got reinstated so it s in process again I think Tue their site says it s still cancelled Again call get back in process Today Thur call and am told it is in process So WHY DOES SITE SAY IT S CANCELLED IF IT S IN PROCESS I ask The guy tells me it s because it s in process HUH 2 I get email saying they can t fill a different prescription due to not available and that they ve tried to contact my doc about this unsuccessfully That s ALL the email says I go to their site and it says Waiting for information from you but doesn t say what info So I call ask what info they want and find out they want the doc to say what med to use instead FINE BUT WHY DON T YOU SAY THAT IN YOUR EMAIL TO ME I ve had to make so many calls to them JUST BECAUSE THEY DON T SAY WHAT THEY MEAN either on their site or in their emails It s nuts Do they want us to have to call a lot to find out what s going on

Express Scripts Cigna Pricing Fraud
Express Cigna aggressively promotes itself as the low cost provider to military tricare users which is not true I have irrefutable evidence of that which i have provided to DHA military IG and House Armed Services Committee which have done nothing For military Tricare users - just go your down- the- street pharmacy they are far cheaper

Worst Customer Service experienced in years with any company
Too bad you have to give them at least one star Customer service is the worst I have encountered in years I spent over 1hour and 25 minutes being transferred from Wellcare to ExpressScripts for a simple question about a prescription The last lady I spoke to would not even give me her name as she said she didn t want her name written down on a piece of paper The rudeness was incomprehensible The entire experience with them was horrible and I will try to get the prescription portion of my insurance with medicare changed to CVS CAREMARK who has always been so much more helpful

Express Scripts - continuing decline to an F
For five years I have been on the same medication dose and frequency Every time I have to order my medication there is a delay It almost seems like resistance because the delays are getting longer and longer I am terrified of running out of medication each and every time This time it was going to be a month or more until I once again responded with anger I hate this path plus it makes my blood pressure go to levels that put me in bed Express Scripts needs a new process or better yet go back to your original process of 6 to 10 years ago As of now your company gets an F Why would you put an automatic hold of two weeks on a prescription then another two weeks plus to proces and mail I have immersed myself in your process so that I could comply with all your rules What are you doing wrong Where are you coming up short and how can you do better What can I do short of calling my attorney

Incredibly slow delivery
It takes 10 days to get an order them even for prescriptions that are a simple refill where they do not have to contact a doctor I have no idea how they expect people to wait that long for their medications And when you contact them for help it s so difficult to get anyone who can resolve the issue

Inept - Poor communication
OMG I have been trying to get two different medications filled now for several months One is an alternative for the other For both of these medications Express hits keeps bouncing the status from In progress to Need more information When in Need More Information they say they need more information from the doctor I have my doctor call them and it gets resolved But in day or two - it is back to Need more information requesting different info from the doc Both of these medications have cycled through these two statuses 3-4 times I have now been trying to get either of these medications for several months I sent them an email a few days ago and got a voicemail back sending they would send me an email They never did

Frustrated with their Response times
I have been with Express scripts for the past 3 years as prescription service provider They are extremely slow and casual about how they fill people s prescriptions They take forever to fill the prescriptions Every time they receive a new prescription from the doctor they keep asking doctors for useless clarifications and put the orders on-hold These issues never get resolved unless you make multiple calls to them Even when you make these calls it is very difficult to reach a pharmacist and it is very frustrating Feels like I am dealing with some type of bureaucratic governmental agency Unfortunately I am stuck with them as this is the only option available thru my employer which is also the reason they can get away with this type of poor service
