Not very good at fixing stuff

This company has been trying to repair my hot water fault for 2 years They still haven t done it Was told at the beginning of October that the heat source unit needed a new circuit board I ve heard nothing since

Incompetent tradesmen hanging on to previous careers

A few tradesmen are incompetent including the lead engineer They didn t listen to the the tenant reporting the fault The head engineer misdiagnosed the fault replacing the water tank making no difference to the fault The lead engineer told me how some heating engineers are ex warrant officers in the army as if this made up for the them being rude and incompetent I was baffled by his story of what rank him and his colleagues used to be in a different career I received a letter from Hewer notifying me of an appointment they had made unfortunately the postman delivered the letter 2 hours after the appointment time The letter also threatened that I may be breaching my tenancy agreement and my work manager would be notified that I missed the appointment To add insult to injury they never arrived after me waiting in for them The company would benefit from training their staff to be polite Not to give out stories about previous careers Listening to the tenant reporting the fault and spending more time being more accurate with a repair will be far more cost affective than wasting money on expansive parts and labour Also notifying customers of appointments before they occur would be useful

Awful - Totally unacceptable attitude

Awful wanted an engineer to look at my boiler sounding like a hammer drill gargling and boiling off from the gas vent They called back on a generic mobile number which they did not advise they would do while I was on a Voice Conference I called them back within 10 min they cut me off I called back lines were unavailable I finally managed to talk to someone 30 min later who said you did not answer your phone and it s too late now next availability is tomorrow It was their fault I could not get back to them and they are supposed to give me 1-hour notice anyway
