No delivery attempted

I am giving two stars as customer service were really helpful Twice parcels did not arrive no attempts to deliver made so obviously no delivery card left Contacted customer service and they arranged for me to collect from the local depot at my request This said will be avoiding companies who advertise using FedEx as they are failing to fulfil the delivery aspect of their service

The usual random rubbish

The usual Totally fantasy delivery times Every time one was breached they just set a new one On the fourth they managed to deliver it 1 day later than initially given 2 days spent waiting Then the guy dumped in in the porch and it says I signed for it Do they lie about everything

Parcel not left where instructed email notification sorely lacking in detail

Email received at 7 15pm to say parcel delivered at 1 30pm Why the nearly 6 hours delay Email said parcel was delivered and signed for by me no sign of parcel and I didn t sign for it Parcel not left in designated safe place and instructions I d left on note taped to my front door not followed Eventually found my parcel by fumbling about in the dark at 10pm in my tiny shed not where I asked it to be left Why can t a more detailed comment be sent in the email telling me where the parcel had been left

Tricky redelivery system

Trying to reschedule a FedEx parcel for redelivery is nigh on impossible You get asked to visit their website but can t reschedule that way The website asks you to phone a customer service number but as I missed my delivery due to being at work by the time I phoned all I got was an annoying automated voice that sounds gratingly like Holly Willoughby She smugly repeats that she can t help you but if you visit the website you can reschedule delivery Somewhere else on the website it suggests downloading the FedEx app don t bother - it s useless It also suggests using the online chat function It s automated and suggests phoning or using the website But at least it s silent unlike the Holly Willoughby voice Today I tried to reschedule for Friday when I m in but it automatically rescheduled for Thursday when I won t be at home I made a complaint to FedEx using their email where I specified that Wednesday or Friday would be okay to deliver This has now been arranged

Poor customer service

Asked for a parcel from Japan to be delivered to their facility because I wasn t at today They ignored my request and went back to the flat where they left the parcel with a neighbour Their customer service on the live chat is the worst

I send a lot of packages and was quite fine with fedex in the UK But recently a lot of time have been wasted by delivery delays

When it goes wrong there is no customer support

I was tempted to give just one star but my history with them is usually good But unfortunately as the other reviews indicate when something goes wrong the customer support is APALLING My company urgently needed a parcel delivered next day Not only did they change the delivery date to a whole week later but they refused to allow me to have the parcel returned to the shippers address because my name wasn t on the parcel Security reasons despite the fact that I have an online account with them It makes no sense Over 100 shipment The cost of the good plus having to supply our customer goods from elsewhere means the Fedex mess up has caused us stress and financial loss and they refuse to me to try and fix the issue just because of security reasons More like they knew they messed up and couldn t think of a better excuse

The driver left my cardboard box outside the door in the rain Even though we were home waiting for the delivery we discovered the parcel only by chance on opening the front door as the driver didn t even bother to ring the bell or knock on the door Lazy person

Lost parcel

Lost parcel no updates no possibility of speaking to a human being when you phone them FedEx are disappointing in a competitive field of mediocrity Edit - upgraded to 2 stars as the item turned up at the collection point but didn t show on their tracking system so I d never have known if the retailer hadn t chased it up for me

FedEx couldn t find address

FedEx told the seller that they were unable to locate my address So arranged to pick up from a local depot Unfortunately there isn t a FedEx depot in Dundee so they left my parcel in Edinburgh and only had 5 days in which to collect Tried to call numerous attempts but was unable to get past Virtual answering service So with seller saying I would have to pay for return postage 25 I jumped on a bus to Edinburgh over a hour then another bus to Mulberry Street 40 minutes to a 20 minute walk along a country lane to get to FedEx and my parcel Please read FedEx reviews this isn t the first time they couldn t find someone address
