Excellent quality But difficult to fit

don t get me wrong the fireplace was perfect but the communication terrible firstly after spending over 2k didn t hear anything from the company until I called to gain information was told the order was coming on a Wednesday or Thursday a few weeks after call so booked time off work to find out on the Friday when I called again that the fireplace wasn t turning up until the Saturday Delivery driver was polite and gave me Mick s number to ring if any problems when I did call went straight to answer phone but was called back over an hour later Should have been 2 people to lift assembly into house because of the sheer weight of the marble There was no instruction on how to put the fireplace together at all I also had to wait for the mirror fixing brackets to arrive in the post a few days later as they were not with the delivery For over 2k spent I just expected the service to be much better and at least some help with installation A real shame really as the fireplace looks lovely

Woodwork was good instructions to fit were minimum and the fittings were crudely fitted but that was a small fault as fitting are hidden

Great easy ordering service Delivered in good time Beautiful product BUT fixing the thing is well nigh impossible Had to resort to calling in Joiner friend

Happy with the product and looks great Would have rated higher if it hadn t have been delivered incorrectly to the invoicing address rather than the delivery address

I absolutely love the product but however what you provide to fix it to the wall isn t great The screws are rubbish and not long enough It would be better to have a fixing bracket Other than that the product itself is amazing and looks beautiful

I have used your company at our last house so knew what i was getting A great looking fire place fitted with the minimum fuss On this occasion though i needed to know the width of the fireplace for the decorators who were in before you I was given a drawing of the measurements showing width 54 cms - unfortuately it was 44 cms and i was left with missing skirt board either side which has cost me money to replace - and looks awful as this skirt can no longer be bought Not good

The fire was offered at at a good price but delivery of r days was actually two weeksThe fire is excellent and was easy to install

One of the holes in the beam was not drilled deep enough which is a bit of a problem as I did not have a drill bit long enough to drill it out Had to borrow one from a relative to complete the install

The communication is excellent and the product was delivered promptly However I asked for the oak surround to be replaced as the wood was split in several places significantly The Company was excellent and sent me another surround unfortunately also with significant splits The manager said it was just part of the rustic look and not a structural problem but wood swells when hot and contracts when cold and so I felt it would not last very long as a surround to a working fireplace Also the 145 fuel kit has a sticker on the box saying it is for decorative purposes only and not suitable for primary or secondary heat source So basically not suitable to be used in a working fireplace Company refunded me straight away so no complaints about service just think carefully about what you want to use it for
