Shipping woes led to restock fee

I chose to try Firstleaf hoping it might be something worth trying The order went smoothly but quickly ran into roadblocks when FedEx said it was undeliverable I waited on my porch all day for the shipment and nobody came with it I then held it at a location and then redirected it to one of the local pick-up spots close by Fed-Ex chose to ship it back to the sender and I was charged a restocking fee by Firstleaf When I contacted them they stated I would not receive my product and they would not refund the restock fee Terrible experience that spanned about a month

This company touts a customer

This company touts a customer satisfaction guarantee but they care very little about customer satisfaction There membership advertisement is incredibly misleading and they lead you to believe that if you fill out a questionnaire they ll send you a selection of wines based on your tastes but that s not what they do They repeatedly say in their advertisement that this is a great way to sample or try new wines but all they do is duplicate wines You don t get new and different wines you get a bunch of the same wines and when I pointed that out to them over and over they simply said they were sorry I was unhappy but would do nothing to correct it When I pointed out the misleading advertisement again all I got was an empty sorry Even the guarantee says If for any reason you re not satisfied with a bottle you receive through the club we ll give you Firstleaf credit for it Of course they refused to do so refused to provide a refund and simply did not care even when I pointed out this satisfaction guarantee SORRY it s all you ll get so choose another membership company because in my opinion this company is not at all interested in your satisfaction only about getting your payment

Absolutely horrific experience

Absolutely horrific experience The wine arrived 10 days late I communicated with customer support on 4 separate occasions to which they told me to just check the shipping update Each day I was home with an ID ready to sign for the package Each evening I d get an email about how something went wrong with my order It was frustrating and painful Then the box arrived damaged Go figure

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage cancelled repeatedly online and still ran the club purchase through Refused to cancel refund to the charges account because I wasn t the first leaf account holder I m the spouse and my spouse is at work and unable to call even when I was able to give them all the requested information to include account information the bank name exact amount and date the charge was put through Following Firstleaf response she tried twice to cancel using the methods you mentioned and just an fyi that was my card that was used for the charge so perhaps the card owner should have the capability to cancel the charge

This is obviously a money grab scam Horrible customer service they will continue to charge you despite saying they have cancelled your subscription I was finally able to get them to stop charging my card 4 months after I have writing that they were cancelling my subscription by letting them know I was going to contact the BBB

I tried this wine club in Jan

I tried this wine club in Jan 2022 and set up a shipment for March 2022 they scheduled that shipment for Feb 2022 I called had them change the date After I tried a few of the wines from the initial offerings received I didn t care for them and I called to cancel my membership Eventually they emailed me a letter stating my membership was in fact canceled however my credit card was still showing as active For nearly two years save 30 days no problems no account I stopped opening emails because they were just asking me to come back On Dec 10 2023 FedEx delivered a box of 6 bottles of wine and they charged my credit card 111 and change Emails sent to me telling me a shipment was coming I never saw for the reason above They claimed I went to their site played some quiz and reopened my account and ordered wines They lied I was two days out of back surgery on 11 11 2023 and nowhere near a pc or the site they claim I visited Additionally just in case I also lost a piece of my brain I checked my pc for sites visited during Nov 2023 I was never there They claim they have screenshots and multiple bs shots showing I visited their website and reactivated my account I used to have a business and I could tell when my site was visited also I also know the many ways online trickery can work I have already addressed this with my bank and they have blocked them from ever charging my account again I have filed a claim with the FTC my state Attorney General s office and the BBB They answered the BBB but lied again This scheme has seemed to work well for Philip James but I have a feeling the ball will ultimately fall in the correct net I will be furthering this issue Having a winery business of this size does not give permission to blatantly cheat people He didn t do well with Lot 18 either

I thought I was the only one having

I thought I was the only one having issues in understanding their policy but it came to my attention that several other clients faced the same problem of transparency No one email that would remind you that a second order with payment shipment completly automatic and unauthorized is going to process before you agree This is a fraudulent and scamming behavior that takes advantage of people that forget or don t spend their life thinking about hidden subscription I asked them for a refund but I got only the common useless and superficial answer auto-generated now through my bank I am trying to dispute the charge I want to clarify that every other automatic annual or monthly subscription to other website would remind you before the actual payment processing This is the trustful way to deal with people especially for 100 plus dollars of charge Still shock

This is a true SCAM

This is a true SCAM THEY CHARGED ME 124 25 without my authorization I m overseas right now can t log in to their website can t call them this is FRAUD I never asked to be a member or receive monthly shipments they sent and email that I could ask for a gift related to my gym membership and between the options they had i chose First Leaf got the bottles but now they charged me again without my authorization BE AWARE never share personal information with them and to the COMPANY CANCEL THAT answer to my emails and give me back my money or I will take actions

Absolutely horrible customer service both before I placed an order for a Christmas gift and after they messed it up and then lied about it There are dozens of other wine clubs who appreciate your business this is not one of them and I strongly recommend that you go elsewhere I 100 stand by my review and hope that it helps other potential customers to evaluate their options and to look elsewhere Firstleaf s customer service is not even worthy of one star Interestingly I couldn t leave a review directly on their website which leads me to believe that they only post positive comments Shameful
