Unreasonable Customer Sevice
I signed up for their introductory offer for a year When the year was over the Warning we about to charge your card 100 email went into spam as these things do I contacted Craftsy customer support before the charge had even completed the pending stage on my credit card account and they flat out REFUSED to give me my money back and cancel the membership In my mind this would have been good customer service opportunity on their part They could have taken a moment to see that I never used Craftsy and certainly hadn t since the membership renewed yesterday It feels like a money grab and I m extremely disappointed This tiny bit of customer service would have gone a long way to making me feel okay with signing up again in the future should I have more time to take advantage of the classes But instead I feel compelled to speak up so others don t fall into the same situation I will certainly never renew with Craftsy again

BEWARE Your renewal will cost 4 TIMES
My 2022 Craftsy membership cost 50 and it expires October 8th 10 days prior to the expiration my credit card was charged 169 Craftsy refuses to let me cancel or downgrade my membership Please help

Craftsy Scam
Craftsy lures people in by offering a cheap membership charge I signed up on October 21 2023 against better judgment Within the week I cancelled my premium membership because I did not find anything useful on the site and it is not navigable Craftsy did not send me a verification email that I had cancelled my membership I have been receiving 97 charges since then for the premium membership Their representative Joan claims there aren t any notes on my account verifies that there hasn t been any activity on my account since October 2021 and states they do not issue refunds Craftsy charges your account without notice Some people claim the email they received was embedded in lots of scammy marketing emails I did not receive any notice from Craftsy not even in my spam or junk folders Today I logged into my Craftsy account to cancel the premium membership again And again they do not send any documentation to verify that the membership is cancelled I believe they hope people will forget that they cancelled the membership and continue charging the payment you have on file They do not take prepaid cards for a reason Do not give them any payment information

Just like everyone s complaint The refund policy is a joke They will send you a bunch of newsletters so you will miss the renewal notice You will be charged 10 days in advance and no refund policy once charged

BEWARE this scummy business practice
BEWARE this scummy business practice There website won t let you select DO NOT RENEW They charge the renewal without letting you know--and have no trouble using an expired card Don t trust them And the person that is happy is probably an employee

Premium membership NOT
Craftsy made an offer I accepted then I accepted their upgrade offer to Gold membership only to discover that the classes I was interested in were an additional 40 over my membership fee Why did I even join I called immediately to cancel and requested a refund They said their company policy was no refunds How is this not fraud Anyway I will never do business with this company again

Scammers Did not use or sign up for this service Called to get refund and was told because my email address Is correct it must not be fraud Disputing through bank to recover my funds Reps are rude and not professional They sound like robots just repeating we do not refund

Stole just under 200 from me
Have no idea who this company was until they took just under 200 from my bank Searched their website cannot even find anything that equals to the amount they took Phoned my bank spoke with the fraud squad who are now investigating but reading these reviews I see other people s bank picked it up as fraud before allowing the transaction I will be asking the fraud squad to take this further as this is disgusting

Frauds and Thieves
They put you on automatic renewal without informing you and then take your money without your consent at their own choosing without any heads up Straight-up thieves using massively underhand tactics Customer service just ignores you and when they do respond don t even acknowledge they ve taken your money illegally or offer any sort of help
