Wish I could give negative stars
Wish I could give negative stars Their customer service is a nightmare After spending over 30 minutes to reach a nurse regarding an urgent medical condition the clinic staff refused to transfer me and then hung up on me

Preventative visit
Preventative visit Took vitals went over my medication and sent me to labs I was charged 1800 bucks one thousand eighteen hundred dollars because I asked to have my gout medicine transferred to a different pharmacy told doc I didn t want to take cholesterol medication and that I had a pre-existing condition and thus the reason for the high biliruben when he wondered why it was high It was a 15 minute visit including the lab All three of the above constituted 2 additional office visit charges during my preventative visit So glad we will stop being insured with HP in about 4 months

I love my healthcare provider but HealthPartners is the ACTUAL worst
I love my healthcare provider but HealthPartners sucks They charge your insurance company money to send your healthcare provider a message the only place I ve been to that does this and their version of MyChart basically offers no access to any health information It s really gross to feel so taken advantage of You have to pay money to ask your provider a simple question but HP really doesn t give you anything of value your provider does in the limited capacity that they can

Very disappointed about my recent
Very disappointed about my recent visit I scheduled an appointment for chronic fatigue that I ve dealt with for about one year On the phone I was told insurance would cover the full cost of the appointment The doctor asked me many personal questions some seemed quite irrelevant to the problem No tests were ordered no medication prescribed nothing was done to help improve my fatigue The doctor told me to drink lots of water get enough sunlight and excerise frequently Then I was still charged a co-pay I never would have gone if I d known this would be the outcome I m never going back to Health Partners it was a complete joke Someone who d supposedly had years and years of training told me nothing other than the basics of a healthy lifestyle which I already had known and used daily

Wait for Nothing
I recently went online to find a doctor I am trying to establish primary care The doctor I found had a high rating and according to the HealthPartners website was taking new patients at the Arden Hills clinic I sat on the phone for 45 minutes to schedule the appointment only to be told that the provider I wanted to see was not seeing new patients The person at the call center was pleasant and did her best to help However the experience was a waste of time and I was not able to schedule with the provider I chose even though the website indicated that she was taking new patients

If you have something rare or unusual
If you have something rare or unusual going on don t bother go private practice they won t even help you figure out what s going on if they don t find it a standard issue With all of the Bureaucratic BS going on doctors can no longer practice medicine in big Box hospitals and partnerships Everyone is far better off going back to private practice medicine where doctors are allowed to actually practice medicine

Upon being denied an appeal for
Upon being denied an appeal for treatment at the Mayo Clinic HP said patient must be seen by an in network physician Even though in a state of emergent high blood sugar levels and in extreme ill health I was made to wait three days for an appointment to see Dr Siwadon Pitukweerakul Yesterday that appointment was simply canceled The office said they could reschedule for a VIDEO appointment with the doctor in 6 or 8 additional days The administration and the HP Specialty Dept knew how sick I d been After 2 visits to the ER and blood sugar levels into the 600 s the only available in network endocrinologist canceled my appointment Sadly this speaks volumes about the care of patients at HP And after reading these other reviews it s clear I m hardly alone in this experience Putting profits over patients is unethical and frightening

Would have given 0 stars but not an
Would have given 0 stars but not an option Didn t choose healthpartners but husband s company switched providers I am a type 2 diabetic and finally on a medication that works this new insurance won t cover the med unless my medical provider let s them know I was on other meds prior to my current one I already had to pay 400 out of pocket and unless they hear from my provider they won t cover it at all And trying to get a provider to respond and provide the insurance company with what they need is like pulling teeth Why try to change a med a person has been using successfully for 6 months And why are people with NO medical background telling people what they can and cannot take for medications Absolutely horrible insurance DO NOT USE THEM You d be better off going to a veterinarian
