Very high delivery charges to the Isle of Wight makes using HFE a nonsense

The headline price is no guide to your total cost

the graphics and art design are of good quality however the designer needs to be able to spell as he spelt avenue like avennue

Struggled with the online designer

Struggled with the online designer not intuitive eventually had to send in pictures and descriptions All came out excellently in the end

posters improved look of garage certainly a new cutting implement is needed by company as jagged edges arrived next day and designs were quickly organised

wouldn t take responsibility for their poor courier service

I have ordered several items before Good quality good service normally However a prior screw up by courier meant I had to waste a lot of time trying to retrieve my parcel Although I had paid 10 incl VAT to have a quick delivery it was substantially delayed and I ended up having to collect it from a shop REGARDLESS of all the hassle no discount offered On next order I asked them to pick up the delivery tab as a good will gesture This met with HUGE resistance and they eventually offered a miniscule discount I was sent t cs about them not being responsible for their courier Very disappointed with the jobsworth attitude on this occasion I would have given 2 stars but they have been efficient previously so 3 seemed fair on balance

The managing of customer expectations could be improved

The online design tool is not very good as it does not feed the design to the company so your design is not guaranteed to be the way you expected which means lots of backwards and forwards with the designers to get it right This causes a significant delay in the ordering process which means next day delivery is not necessarily possible The website should make this much clearer to customers and the designers should make customers aware of the possible delays to the order during the proofing process However customer service is good and I received a call from a manager following making a complaint and I felt they acknowledged the issue The actual product was pretty good quality and the printing of colours is accurate to the images you provide

Item - No show

Ordered a Banner for next day delivery as I have an event called to see when I could expect delivery and was told it was not placed in the delivery van for some reason I will have to do the event without a sign now which is going to effect our visibility attraction and therefore the the overall profit - they did not offer to compensate me for this and when I asked what they was going to do about it they said they will remove the 8 delivery charge and send it next day delivery I would expect at least 50 off the price for the inconvenience if not a full refund Not impressed I have recently changed my rating as they did eventually get back to me after reviewing this post and sent me the banner free of charge

Banner

Lots of confusion with banner copy changes were made on 2nd copy of proof which we hadn t requested meaning incorrect information on the banner was sent to me and then we had to re pay for another one

Poster redone as a couple were darker

I gave Chris 4 posters to produce He was very helpful and suggested I should give the original jpeg image to enhance the quality which I did It was for my daughter s 16th Birthday It meant a lot to me The photos samples I submitted were bright and of excellent quality but 2 posters appeared too dark On complaining and writing my honest review on TrustPilot HFE eventually agreed to redo a couple of posters complimentary as a gesture of goodwill I would have much preferred if they had done them at the onset but at least we have a resolution from TrustPilot So thank you In conclusion the colour brightness contrast gamma correction on the production HFE Signs canvas is not perfect as the photos are a tad darker for the Asian skin tone Perhaps they will improve overtime

Disappointed

Have ordered 2 different products and was pleased with the speed and quality However I forgot to add 2 smaller signs to an order this week and they still want the minimum charge Do not consider this to be good customer relations so have gone elsewhere
