The online shop needs work I ordered and paid for a new turntable that the website said was in stock The following day I received an email stating they hoped to have some in stock by the end of next week and would let me know when it d be ready to ship Other than that price and product we re good

Delivery was the issue

Whilst HiFi X did all they could to ensure an efficient service they have unfortunately chosen Parcelforce as their courier I have had other poor experiences with them and this purchase was yet another example with poor communication and their failure to deliver within the promised time window I strongly suggest they use another courier service i e DPD who have made a number of very efficient deliveries to me in the past

Fast service but no response to emails

Delivery was the issue I paid for next day but it wasn t clear that that didn t include Saturday so got the package after the weekend - could have saved the delivery charge and used ordinary delivery Also they sent the package to the invoice address not the delivery address so I have to arrange onward delivery which was most inconvenient Chat support earlier on stock availability was good however

I made contact with you by phone twice

Fast service hi-fi was well-packaged no problems there Very happy with the setup I purchased Two stars lost because 1 the speaker cable I was sent did not match the picture on the website it was not terminated - I found the small print later so this was misleading and 2 the shop failed to respond to 2 emails from me

I ordered a Chord Qutest and paid for

I made contact with you by phone twice as I had a problem with connecting a headphone amp to the new amp I purchased from youbut you never got back to me so I made contact with the headphone amp manufacture and I got a reply the same day and got the problem sorted outBut as for your website i found it very good and easy to use and the check out and pay was simple

My first order came with no problems

I ordered a Chord Qutest and paid for it by Credit card only to receive a mail an hour later informing me that the order was canceled since Chord will not allow export from the UK to Sweden This is due to the fact they are about 300 more expensive in Sweden It would have been better if the order was blocked before the payment process That way it would be easier for you and the customer I will wait until I come to the UK and buy a Quest to take back to Sweden

Next day delivery took 1 week

My first order came with no problems with updates My second order not so good with updates had to phone to find out what s happening it turns out part of my order is out of stock I don t mind the wait as long as I am updated on its progress Sent massage asking if they could recommend good speaker cables Still waiting for reply

Nice product at a good price

Nice product at a good price delivered quickly So why the low rating It shouldn t have been delivered as I requested pick up from the shop As a consequence I had to cancel three meetings to wait in for a delivery Despite my order clearly stating pick up from shop they basically told me that I had not filled the form in correctly I ve been a customer for a long time but this is the last time that I will deal with them
