Wouldn t sell me flea stuff altho quite happy to charge me 200 for surgery that can be done for 30 elsewhere AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I ve lost a much loved family pet due to what I feel is a lack of competence at the vetinary practice Wells Road bristol I visited out of hours with a very poorly dog several tests done at a cost of nearly 600 told he maybe had eaten something next day I returned to Wells Road and had a thorough check over as I thought was told he would recover in a few days 24 hours later my beloved pet collapsed and died in horrific discomfort Do not know cause of death I feel the practice did not do enough to investigate They told me he would be fine in a couple of days You put your trust in the so called experts but in this instance it seems they failed Although I have been offered my out of pocket expenses as a good will gesture I feel this doesn t go any where near far enough I am currently in the process of proving negligence against the newly qualified vet that suggested to me no scan or further testing was needed it was a waste of money even after a vet 8 hrs earlier suggested I go back to Whitchurch specifically for a scan This whole process is very long and frustrating I hope to have a satisfactory response soon and I hope lessons will be learnt and no other dog or family goes through anything like this

Lost my beloved dog and felt more could have been done He became poorly and we attended Wells Road vets twice as we were concerned and were told both times he would recover and just needed time The second time we had attended we were expecting scans for further investigations but were told it was not needed and he would recover 24 hours he became even more unwell pooing blood and vomiting we called out of hours were told to monitor yet again and within 20 minutes he had collapsed and died in my arms 600 pounds later and now no dog Shocking I put my faith in them as vets and feel my dog was let down and severely suffered as a result of this Heartbroken or an understatement

I visited the vet on the 12th feb

I visited the vet on the 12th feb to let them know my dog had passed away on the 11th and to drop claim forms in for them to fill in On the 13th i recieved a reminder text for my dogs vaccinations and health check more un necessary stress after losing our family pet in such horrific circumstances

I m financially ruined

My ferret was unwell and not pooing properly i was reccomended to bring him here as an emergency they kept him and another ferret overnight and ran tests the next day I picked him up and was given a bill of nearly 1900 and I bought my ferrets home with still no idea what was wrong I m happy he seems a bit better but was really hoping for that amount I would find a problem and do get a feeling they tried to get as much money out of me as possible which sucks because I was already broke and just had to take it all on as debt

Terrible vets gave my dog the wronf vaccine and now refise to treat him as i kicked up a fuss

No longer competent regarding exotics

Originally went to Wells Road exotics as Holly was recommended as being good with pet rats Holly was indeed brilliant The ladies on reception are also very helpful and I have zero complaints about them Sadly Holly left and her replacement doesn t seem to understand pet rats at all I have been given bad advice on 3 separate occasions and am generally fleeced for as much money as can be drained from my purse while not actually being given the medicines my pets require without being told to come on for countless massively overpriced visits My appointments over the past few months have been without a doubt detrimental to the health of my pets I can sadly no longer recommend this company and would advise rat owners to go anywhere but here
